The Barber of Seville overture as battle music. I couldn't stop laughing at how wrong it was.

Voted the soundtrack. Moonlight Sonata was the perfect way to end the ova.

Emotional Realism. It drew me in from the beginning, and tugged at my heart strings oh so much.

No vote for the sex?

I did think the sex was the best part.

I chose for 'other' since the anime itself was generally decent.

Loved the animations, the way the head goes POP in the beginning was priceless also the beautiful lethal shot (how it did hit the target while it was ways off). The gore was also nice lol.

It was so sad to hear father harassing his son. I cried manly tears during that scene. Easy the most touching scene in anime ever.

The emotional realism, sure. And the voice acting. Particularly the battle cries, that sounded like someone turned on some porn channel on their TV. In fact, these moans and groans perfectly and realisticaly portray the characters' deep emotions. Especially their intention to f...k the aliens out of their planet.

I, have, laughed, so, much.

Anyway, my favorite part was... when the doctor said that the Girl Who Got Her Head Blown Off was dead. Truly an emotional scene.

The ending. Such a bittersweet ending that ask the question what would happened if you did not get you head blow up?

As much as I enjoy AAST girl's death (and the doctor marking her death despite her lack of a head being kinda telling), I'm gonna go with the spaceship burning up in the atmosphere in the first 2 minutes. It's symbolic of how quickly we could tell this was gonna be shit.
