| Pretty good episode. I guess the comedic parts of this show isn't doing it for me, but the actions scenes are pretty good so there's that. |

Soul's 'witch hunter' scythe mode is awesome! Sid would be dead for real if that attack was to hit him. Dammit, Maka! Black Star trap star is also cool! |

| The fight would've ended earlier if it weren't for Maka being a klutz when they were using Witch Hunter but it's a good thing that Black Star was able to trap Sid in his chain jail immediately afterwards. Stein looks interesting. |

| I'm having some really mixed feeling about this one lol on one hand I am enjoying some parts, but I feel like for the most part I'm not. The fanservice is a bit much, I don't really like Black Star that much and idk it's okay so far, but also very different from what I was first expecting |

| I'm liking the fight scenes and the world building but the random fan service is frustrating to sit through Also I'm not sure if this is also present in the sub, but in the dub, Black Star's voice is unusually high and it's slightly distracting. It's especially weird when he's shown with his same age classmates who sound 10 years older |

Maka Japanese voice acting is not good.
