| Ping Pong had great animation and a really fresh artstyle. If you think otherwise then you apparently can't handle the thought of a story that you can't fap to and you're letting that cloud your judgement. The characters were also generally fantastic. They manage to come across as completely believable human beings in a way that's rare to see. |

| It was pretty good, but I got the generic Talented Hero being talented without much psychological development. All the interesting characters were stuck on the side. The art style is unorthodox, but it's too ugly to benefit the story. It could've been told with ordinary realism and it wouldn't harm it. |

The sketchiness was rough and there was no elegant minimalism to it. The lips looked weirdly too big. Everythng was grotesque and exaggerated, but it was a realistic style. It was a strange clash. It's not like Monster's realism, which is more subdued. Characters in the back oftne look like blobs. You're welcome to elaborate on the psychology of Tsukimoto and Peco. I found that both were talented players who had everything figured out while people in the stands talked about how amazing they are. There's a bullying thing going on, but Tsukimoto doesn't actually suffer. If he did, it'd affect his playing. The side-characters were really good. |
