| Jose was beating the crap out of Joe when Carlos appeared by the ringside. Joe seems to only see with one eye, and that is helping in his fight, I suppose that Jose was dodging hits by looking the opponent in the eye. |

| The match started and Jose was OP as fuck at the beginning, but Joe managed a successful counterattack with an assist from Carlos lol. Now both are fighting more or less on equal ground. |

| I like how Jose's inner-monologues are in Japanese. I suppose having his deepest thoughts and feelings conveyed via less-then stellar English may not have been the most ideal way to do so. |
| One thing I'll say about Joe after watching him all this time: he reeeaaalllyyyy loves blocking with his face. It's one thing to fight like a wild animal, but it's another thing to have zero self-preservation. |

| Joe's punches are landing because he's blinded in his eye .. his balance is off .. therefore he's not hitting "straight on" as Jose assume and rolls his neck .. he's hitting at an angle because his left eye is his new equilibrium point hence why he bit Danpei hand when putting the mouthpiece in , Joe is veering to the left which is allowing him to connect |

| @Ulquiorra I supposed that Joe's attacks were now "off" because his vision was blurry, and therefore Jose couldn't predict where they'd land anymore. Either way, super cool how the tables turned in his favor due to taking damage, a total reversal of what usually happens. |
