Some people didn't like that they made lips look different from the anime norm (especially on male characters). Favaro doesn't strictly qualify as an anime protag, cause he is not exactly handsome or cool (in his normal state). I like the designs tho. My least favourite is Lucifer, I think, cause he is still to angelic. Michael's androginy was a tad uncomfortable a couple of times, but angels should be sexless, so fine. Discussing tastes is useless, but I too can't agree with narrow understanding of good design. Some people can't watch an anime without your generic prettiness. Everything which goes out of its narrow borders is scoffed at and called bad visuals. |
| There's still 30k people watching it and only around 3k finished it, give it time. That said, this was pretty meh towards the end, the bads guys were just laughable and really dragged the show down for me. It's score is okay. |

| More people should watch this. I Just finished it myself yesterday. If you are this kind of fantasy fan you can't help but like it. I thought the story structure could be better, but the plot structure was really nicely thought actually. Ep 11 was freaking dam good btw. I wonder what would happened if this anime was a great wile longer and had more space for actually story build and more character development. For people who seen the card game should know there is so much material to work with and I'm confident enough if this where to be a 50+ eps anime it could be quit the big shot. It would feel like a adaption from a fantasy book. |

| The anime should be around 6-7. I think there's bias involved as fans of this type of genre and the card game are watching. The plot was very simple. What bothered was that the demon lord thought he could control Bahumut, kind of silly. Also, all that was required was to pierce the glowing symbol on his head? Why couldn't anyone else do that? | The anime was enjoyable, but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. I mean it's better than the traditional anime, but when an anime gets hyped up it's usually due to a somewhat unique aspect in the plot. Such as SnK for having titans fight against humans in a dystopian world or in SAO's case where virtual reality becomes reality itself. This felt all too familiar, with angels, gods, demons, devils, holy knights, dragons, zombies, etc, placed into one universe. That's not to say it didn't make it less entertaining though. The characters were decent, though Amira having the personality of a child and Kaisar yelling Favora's name almost every episode ruined it a bit. Still Rita, Favaro, and Bacchus were very much likable. |

| Because it's an original story with no known or popular source material with an already existing fanbase. Also it has its fair share of 'problems' that put off some people, add to that the fact it wasn't 24 episodes like it should have been and you have a very small chance at getting hype. The last episode hinted at a possible continuation, that would probably have some kind of 'hype' because by the time it comes around more people would have seen this season i.e. it will have a fanbase looking forward to it which results in hype. Edit: And btw Garo is slowly surpassing this. |

| It is a good series but just not popular enough and many would probably have skipped this series after a quick glance. Unless if you are someone who is curious and open-minded enough to check out a wide range of new series every season, there's a chance that you probably missed a very good series or two each season. |

| It's a great anime, forget about the haters. Every single title in this database has been shit on by someone at some point. So don't pay anyone else's opinion any mind without first watching and forming one for yourself. I've always said personally I'd much rather hear about why someone likes an anime rather than what they don't like about it. I just don't give a shit about anyone's negative opinion on an anime because I'm over here trying to enjoy it all as much as possible and I don't dwell on the negatives, though I will take note of them as I watch for myself. |
