Well of course they will. This isn't the kind of material they could f**k up. With the Disappearance being the best story in the light novels so far, KyoAni are bound to pull out all the stops with this movie.

I hope kyoani animate The Disappearance Movie really good.

I'm in no hurry to see it. Got plenty of other stuff to watch while waiting. ;P

Yeah I also remember Eva 1.0 getting a camera rip and I also remember how reluctant fansubbing groups were, to actually sub that poor quality thing. So even if someone video records The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, don't expect any decent group to sub it.

@Master_M2k: That is unless there's a camera rip. I seem to remember that Eva 1.0 managed to get subbed like that. It still won't do justice for the actual work though, but it'll manage to at least satisfy my desire to see how it is.

@suffix - The Haruhi anime is based on a series of light novels by Nagaru Tanigawa and of course KyoAni are paid to animate it however, they have their own writers and directors like in any other studio. By having their own writers and such, they're allowed some creative freedom and it's that freedom, which allowed the directors and writers to create such a poor adaptation of the original material.

I'm surprised that a month on, there are still some people that require this explanation. Also if you're waiting for the movie, then you're in for a long wait, since we're all gonna have to wait for the DVD release then the subs.

I dunno, I think KyoAni has writers or something that plan it out for the animators. I'm not sure how that works.

And Haruhi 2 was a bit of a let down, but it wasn't THAT bad.

Did KyoAni even create or write Haruhi. I don't think so. I figure they only animated it, did what they were paid to do... and the animation can't have been bad. I haven't watched Haruhi yet, because I don't like waiting for sequels so I'll wait till the movie is out before watching everything (in chronological order). :P
