If you like code geass... (rant)
...then you might like death note
*head desk*
holy fucking crap! i don't know if there's anyone out there that feels the same way i do, but i am getting so tired of looking into the recommendation box and seeing this:
"if you like code geass, then you'll like death note" (or if you like death note, you'll like code geass".)
why am i getting tired of seeing this you may ask? simple: because SO MANY HAVE DONE THIS!!! how many?

228 people on MAL have recommended death note if they have seen code geass, or the other way around.
it is literally at this point that if i see this again, i'm gonna lose it! i'm only assuming this, but i can guarantee that there are some people are like "ok we get it, code geass is like death note, ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!"
or maybe that's me
anyways, i'm done, i just had to get this off my chest. any thoughts? leave me a comment.

Death Note has class. Death Note is beautiful to look at. Death Note has some of th beste voice-acting, in both English and Japanese, ever. While it falters somewhat in the later episodes, Death Note remians the best thriller series I've ever seen.Code Geass has NONE of these things. I mean, DN is one of my favorite tv shows of all time, and CG is one of my most HATED tv shows of all time; why would people recommend CG if they liked DN!? They couldn't be more dis-similar if they tried! |

huh....How is CG similar to DN... one show is about 2 or more genius battle it out and plan very carefully of what their next move are...(While one genius eats potato chips and another eats... anything sweet) While another is about a retard that move it's king first when playing chess...(and have a green hair girl eating pizza next to him all day) |

I don't even think it should be recommended. I love Death Note and hate Code Geass. It's an insult to Death Note to compare the two.

Yeah, I can see where you're coming from. I think that if you see that's it's been recommended once there is no need to recommend it again. People should at least check the recommendations list before they make one.
