Swords, monsters and blood! Both the series have same things, but Blood+ is so much better! If you liked Tokko, you must see Blood+ (and Blood: The Last Vampire, related to it).

violence, blood, nudity... even the animation is quite similar!

TOKKO I have previously started to watch. In comparison with Elfen Lied they both have pink haired kick ass chicks that seem to be good at blood shed for one reason or another. And both have a race of demons or new species (diclonius) trying to eliminate mankind. Both seem to follow a good story and have nice art and characters.

Both are about some demons and demon parasites that change the human body and give super powers. In Claymore you see almost the same type of awekening, when the demon takes control.

Both animes are about a special forces within the MPD that deals with supernatural cases only.

Both are action packed dramas with gore, deep plots twists, and lead characters fighting off demons with powerful hend held weapons.

Both series revolve around a newbie cop working with a special police unit which deals with unusual cases in not exactly conventional ways, and that would be the only similarity since the plots are utterly different, however "Himitsu" is undeniably better of the two.

rin daughters of mnemosyne is similar to Tokko in terms of supernatural elements though rin daughters of mnemosyne is much more dark and contains more sexual themes than Tokko. If you have watched Tokko and were disapointed be sure to check out rin daughters of mnemosyne.

Action, violence, gore, and drama present in both series. The theme is dark and tragedy is imminent.

Strait Jacket and Tokkou share a somewhat similar theme of special units killing disgusting creatures which seem to have a love for dismembering people in a very bloody fashion. Both also have a dark atmosphere, but Tokkou has a bit more hope. Lots of fighting, blood, gore, and dismemberment... and decent stories/plot also.

Both animes have insects devouring humans from inside and turning them into monsters, and you can find blood and gore in both.

These are similar, because the both have demons and zombies, if u like gore, you'll like both.

An event occurs in both animes that causes horror and chaos. Within this horror there is blood and gore, where the main characters must fight demons. Though the plots are different, there are a lot of similarities between the settings and characters.

In Tokko humanes are destroing monsters and demons just like Dante and just like in Devil May Cry thar are humanes with super natural powers.

TOKKO deals with demon creatures that can infect Humans and essentially turn the Humans into "zombie-like" beings which then a special task force has to eliminate in order to close all of the gates through which the demons enter. There is blood, gore, and a decent plot.

Both involve a main character/group of people with similar powers that all shared a somewhat common past. Loads of blood and violence is also to be found in both!
