Both Letter Bee and D.Gray-man are quite similar in many ways. Both main characters have special eye powers, they both join an organization which means going on missions to different parts of the world, interacting with new people. They're pretty different in terms of story telling, though if you enjoyed D.Gray-man then i don't see why you won't like Letter Bee.

Series where many characters have super powers with one of them being somewhat special. The main characters have a certain goal, always looking up to someone they consider important and also powerful. In their world, dark creatures exist and are bound to be destroyed by these special humans.

Perhaps it's the distinctive blue uniforms and mixed public attitude towards a prominent government agency that early episodes portray the main characters trying, and eventually succeeding, to join, each for their own personal motivations - but Tegami Bachi gives me the same sort of vibe that the earlier episodes of FMA did. Either way, both are good, not-too-ridiculously-long series with a shounen bent that can still be enjoyed by members of both genders. Both feature unique fantasy settings derived from similar real life time periods, as well as extensive travel through these places as part of the plot, delving into the lives of  read more

Letter Bee and Violet Evergarden are beautiful stories about delivering meaningful letters. Both feature an alternative world where the protagonist is not entirely human and is entitled to deliver those very special letters to different clients. The settings seem to be European-inspired, vintage style, with a hint of sci-fi, as Experiments (Secret organization/Army) were made. Also to mention that the protagonist lost someone very dear to him/her and that lead to his/her current path. Both are slice-of-life with a little bit of adventure/action and amazing artwork, so if you liked one, you'll probably enjoy the other.

These endearing stories revolve around innocent children who have occupations that are a meaningful part of their identity. In one tale, we have a grave digger, and in the other, a mail carrier. They adventure out into the strange world in search for answers, and as their story progresses, they encounter new challenges and meet new friends.

Akatsuki and Chronos seem to have the same concept: the bigger and better city. Plus, Shion and Nezumi can easily be compared to Lag and Gauche.

Tired of watching the same cliche isekai fantasy anime with overpowered protagonists over and over again? Tegamine Bachi and Made in Abyss are two amazing fantasy anime without isekai setting. In both anime a young boy and a girl go on the adventures of their lifetimes in a beautiful, yet dark fantasy world, both underground (?). The worlds are full of mysteries which slowly unravel during the anime. Also both anime have some sad moments. Both are HIGHLY recommended to watch.

Both shows are very, VERY similar. I almost felt like they were exact clones of each other. The only difference was my personal bias towards Pandora Hearts. So, what happens when you're young and going about your everyday when suddenly, something happens that changes your life entirely? That's the general concept of both Pandora Hearts and Tegami Bachi. Oz Vessalius is 15 years old when he is dropped into the lowest level of the Abyss and becomes a Contractor for a Chain that resembles a 13-year-old girl named Alice. Lag Seeing is roughly the same age when he becomes a Letter Bee and meets Niche, who is  read more

Both shows feature a steampunk setting and message deliverers, with a fair amount of CGI used in-show (for the airships etc in Last Exile, for the heart-eating giant insects in Tegami Bachi). Tegami Bachi has more of a focus on the message delivery, while Last Exile has as two of its main characters some teenage message deliverers who end up getting caught up in airship wars.

-Both extremely great, adventurous, heartwarming, funny, cute, emotional anime. -Both lost someone extremely important to them, so they set off on an adventure searching for them. -Has a group. -Both gives you a similar feeling -Both have an assistance. Chrono and Rosette, and Lag and Nichie I don't understand why nobody post this recommendation up yet ):

Lag is a weak crybaby just like Tsunayoshi and at first Lag in some kind of way doesnt want to be a Letter bee. 1.Lag is a weak cry baby. 2.Lag haves hidden powers. 3.Lag grows stronger and stronger. 4.He wants to become a Head Bee just like Tsunayoshi wants to become stronger when hes weak to protect his friends.Lag wants to find hes friend Gauche. So i highly reccomendtion this Anime if you like KHR! 5.Also Lag haves a partner just like Tsunayoshis Ring Powerr the Sky Lion or something i forget. 6.So all thoose parts are just like each other

Looking for a great original fantasy story? SukaSuka and Tegami Bachi feature beautiful post-apocalyptic fantasy worlds with a little bit of technology. SukaSuka takes place on islands floating in the sky, while Tegami Bachi takes place in what seems to be the underground. The wastelands of these worlds are inhabited by dangerous giant monsters which can only be defeated by children (The characters from SukaSuka are slightly older and female only, while the characters in Tegami Bachi are boys). Also both anime are really sad; I really recommend you to watch them.

Toaru Hikuushi e no Koiuta and Tegami Bachi both strike me as adventurous series in an open world of wonders. The main protagonists train in a profession and hope to make their dream into a reality. Both series have a solid foundation of their worlds with mechanics and backgrounds. There are rivalries going on between sudden characters as well. Toaru Hikuushi e no Koiuta has the additional element of romance while Tegami Bachi possesses more of a comedic background.

Both really calm and heart warming anime. Both animes give you same feelings.

When i watch Black Bullet i instantly remembered Tegami Bachi series, as both anime deal with insect-like monster that threaten humanity. The concept is somewhat similiar, where the monster can only be killed by some special force. Both Black Bullet and Tegami Bachi also involve partnership in order to defeat the monster.

Both are episodic in a way and there's also another main girl in Gunjou no Magmell that is exactly like Niche.

Both shows have a very unique setting and archetcture. With a very unique night time setting (Whether it be moons and suns with spikes and faces - SE or a manmade sun - TB). Both have a blonde and white haired boy and girl who each serves as a loyal fighting weapon sidekick to one another while both shows have the main character attending a school / workplace while fighting various monsters throughout.

In HxH, a young 12-year-old boy becomes a Hunter in order to find his father who was also a Hunter. In Letter Bee, a young 12-year-old boy becomes a Letter Bee in order to find his childhood hero who was also a Letter Bee. They meet many friends and enemies along the way. HxH is better than Letter Bee, in my opinion.

Both have some similarities in the story and timeline. Both also have the same quest, Lag want to meet Gauche while Lawrence wants to deliver Holo to the north. Both also have some of Fairy Tail story. For art, they also have similarities. I feel both of them have same setting time. The different is, Ookami to koushinryou tell about how the life of a merchant, Tegamibachi tell about how the journey of Lag seeing. If you enjoy Ookami to Koushinryou, you may enjoy Tegamibachi too.

The animations are both very good, both have exciting plots and the main character is out to look for someone from their past time. Also the main is introduced to an orginisation that deals with mysterical beings and the main duo in both anime's show similar characteristics! Looks AND personality.

-Both main character has a mysterious power -both main charater is a little bit childish but kind -both shared the same feeling -the art is kinda familiar -bishounen (?) and there's a lot more, i'm not good at describing this and this is my first time posting a recommendation so im sorry if i made any mistakes :D but anyways the both almost the same (:

Worlds where things are powered by the energy of human memory. Beware of using up too much - otherwise you might lose yourself. Both shows have lots of 'feels.' (Tegami Bachi is more for kids, Valvrave is for older teens and up.)

The soundtrack and overall pacing makes me think about it, kinda slow with a lot of human melodrama but still nice. The characters share characteristics too and are searching for someone/something/someplace. All in all two fantasy/sci-fi shounen.

Train and Eve from Black Cat automatically reminded me of Lag and Niche from Tegami Bachi. Just like Lag and Niche, Train and Eve travel together (along with an extra companion who is the comedy relief character - same as Tegami Bachi). Lag and Train are both gun-wielders, but Train originally used his gun for assassination while Lag uses his gun to uncover feelings left behind in objects. Niche and Eve are both young females who are powerful weapons, but they eventually join Lag and Train respectively on their journeys. Besides those characters, both shows have specific organizations that carry out duties: Tegami Bachi delivers  read more

Nabari and Letter bee are similar with the similar characters : Yoite he has a dangerous power, which is killing him : Kira, and with Tegami Bachi, there are their : Shindan. Two arms who kill his owner.

Both have the same idea. In Mushi-Uta, the Mushi (insects) are able to consume people's dreams and thoughts. In Tegami Batchi, the Gaishou (also insects) eat people's feelings and emotions. After they devour people's thoughts and feelings, people become like dolls! They don't talk, speak, or show any reactions. They are alive but dead inside!

Both anime are about young (less than 15 years old) boys, traveling a lot with powerfull and supernatural female companion in a fantasy world.

While Kobato is more shoujo and Letter bee more shounen, they have some things in common: Both main charas, Lag and Kobato are naive and emotional characters. They both have a mission which consists in helping people. While Lag delivers Letters who are fragments of heart of people, Kobato must fill a bottle with fragments of suffering hearts. The fragments are similar in the two animes: little shiny forms. They also are accompanied by their "guardians", Niche and Ioryogi. The goal is also very look like: both Kobato and Lag must complete their mission in order to be able to go to a certain place  read more

Something about the coloring between the two I find to be very simular. Also, one has a really stubborn young character in both, either you'll find them very annoying, or you'll love them. There is also quite a bit of emotional depth to these.
report Recommended by Yemi_Hikari
The protagonist is a boy with strange powers, (while Natsume has the power to see Youkai, Lag has the power to show the "heart" of people contained in letters) and has a funny friend that follows him, protecting him anywhere he goes to help someone. Its mostly about bonds and true friendship, where every episode is centered about different characters and their touching stories. There is also a very important character from the past of the protagonist that appears a lot in flashbacks (Reiko/Gauche).

Both main characters, Lag Seeing in Tegami Bachi and Nakajima Youko in Juuni Kokuki, adventure throughout the unknown world they are in and learn more about it - its past, its people, its rules and laws and of course the monsters they run into. Both series have matching genres - adventure, fantasy and supernatural.

Both have really similar plots: they want to be something, and chase after an important person which they lost (at an early age)

- Main characters for both series consist of a cute young boy(both have an odd-eye with supernatural powers) and older bishounen male (among others). - Both have a non-modern setting, though one is fantasy and one is alternate history. - Both have fantasy/supernatural elements, as well as partnership. - Both have yaoi fandoms (Shounen anime aimed towards girls, perhaps, but both can enjoy it immensely). Overall, I think someone who enjoys Kuroshitsuji will enjoy Tegami Bachi, and vice versa. Tegami Bachi is a bit more light-hearted in theme, but also has a serious plot that reveals itself later on. It's not really historical, but it has somewhat of an  read more

I feel these two anime series are quite similar. They both involve over-sized monsters, people who risk their lives to take out those said monsters, a central town/district that is safer and higher priority to be saved from said monsters that only the elite can live in, and an ambiguously antique European style to their towns. Both of these shows are also aimed at a fairly unisex audience, being of the action/shounen/supernatural genre.

Both shows are about a traveling youngster, who learn's more about the world around them as their journey develops. Both have different reasons for traveling, though there's a few similarities with the mini stories that you'll encounter as you watch the two.

These might not be identical, but the main characters in both shows put a lot of pride and emotion into their work no matter what they're doing.

Lag was finding Gauche while Haseo was searching for Ovan. both Lag and Haseo idolized Gauche and Ovan. and as the story developed, both of the main characters tried to be more powerful to protect their friends.

Both main characters are little boys with big ambitions and a lot of heart. Both are always going out of their way to help others and care a lot about the people around them. Mokkun (SO) and Niche (TB) also share the Pet/Protector element. If you like Tegami Bachi, I think you'll love Shounen Onmyouji!
