Both animes involves magic and fighting. The main protagonist of Fate/Stay Night is somewhat similar to Hiiragi, both having problems with certain women^^. Although Fate/Stay Night is more on the serious side, you'll like it.
Good plot, lot of magic, nice characters ,great graphic and music = great anime!
Both anime are set in modern world, but with addition of magic working behind the scenes.

Both have a relatively normal, academic underachiever high school boy with supernatural abilities having to protect a mysterious girl with a mysterious power who is introduced at the beginning of the show. There are plenty of other secondary characters in the show, some of whom are good and some of whom are evil, who have unique powers of their own. The two shows have an extremely similar feel to them.
Watch It After A While Youll Realize That They Have A Similar Stor. Like At The Begining A Girl Came Out Of Blue.

It's a bit of a stretch, but both shows are half fantasy/shounen and half harem/romance, and they both throw in a few epic battles and shocking plot twists that no one could see coming.
Both series deal with a low-level story line, similar art, similar style of how things work and the animation.

Both are supernatural high school shows in which a high school boy with powers, accompanied by various girls who also have powers, including one unsociable girl with a massive gun, save the world against demonic creatures, with an intricate and dark plot unfolding in the background of their episodic adventures.

Both Slayers and Night Wizard are "sword and sorcery" type fantasy. Slayers is more heavily tilted toward comedy, but Night Wizard has a good amount of humor in it as well. Both series revolve around the teamwork of a group of very likable, colorful main characters and the resurrection of a demon lord -- with a few twists for added complexity. Great entertainment with enough substance for real enjoyment ^_^
