First of all, I'll try not to swear too much. So, is'nt it always a sign of quality if an anime makes you have strong feelings about it? I think good animes are the ones that make you relate and be truely interested in the characters, loving some of them, hating some others, and Ichigo 100% certainly succeeds in these things.
Okay, I have seen many echhi/harem animes and they all have their similarities, but never has the protagonist been even nearly as retarded as in Ichigo 100%. Usually ecchi boys have these problems like not being able to decide between girls, or thinking about sex and female parts for 99% of their time only to freak out if a girl gets close to them. They also tend to posess only one argument in a conversation, which is to repeat the girls name over and over: "Ni-ni-nishino-san?". Junpei-kun from Ichigo takes these problems to a whole different level.
The main thing that annoys me in the setting is that all the three girls are shown as truely equal, and you really can't tell which one Junpei likes the most, as his opinions seem to change in split-second mode. In most of the other Harem animes I've seen, you can tell the "favourite girl" of the protagonist even though he can't decide between her and a few others, but in Ichigo 100%, there really is'nt a main girl. Everybody can tell that in Rosario+Vampire, Moka-san is the one Tsukune likes, and the other ones an not nearly as important. But in Ichigo 100%, Junpei's favourite girl seems to always be the one he is not with at the moment.
This leads to a situation where Junpei spends time with all the girls equally and hyrts their feelings in the process. For example, he first spends some great fan service -time with Kitaouji thinking only about Toujou. Then, leaving Kitaouji behind he meet Toujou only to begin thinking about Nishino, and of course hurting Toujou. And all the time the viewer is wondering: "What the **** is wrong with this guy?".
When Junpei finally confessed, saying: "I love you, but I love others too!" and when he cried to his friend saying "I'm so unpopular", I was already carrying my laptop to the nearest industrial shredder. There was about a million situations where I was just staring at the screen of my laptop shouting "Answer her, you f****** retard!", shaking my whole computer in despair or watching with my eyes closed not being able to understand what he does to these girls.
Okay, I've focused way too much on Junpei and his problems, but that's really the main thing I got from this anime. It's like the script writers have intentionally created a character, who you'd only want to beat up if you'd see him. Keitaro from Love Hina is a really good guy, Yukinari from Girls Bravo is okay, but Junpei really is someone I only wanted to hate.
But well, there are good points in this anime: The animation is decent, most of the characters are cute, especially Toujou, and I like the school club setting, although it's pretty used nowadays. The ending theme is also quite nice. Eurodance and strawberries!
Overall, if you like to watch harem-anime thinking "I'd be way better a boyfriend for her, her and her", this one's definately for you! If you hate watching popular retards making girls cry, stay far far away from Ichigo 100% ^^
Whoa, maybe this genre is not for me :D read more

Strawberry 100%...
This is one of the first animes I've ever willingly watched subbed... and enjoyed!!!
I watched this back when I was caught up with the magic of Shonen Jump... good times, good times...
Story: 7/10
Lets face it. Strawberry is hardly original, but that's also a good thing when you think about it since it makes you focus more on what it has and does instead of nitpick all of the familiarities it's loaded with.
Which brings me to explain why 7, over 5 or 4?
The intro is both pervertedly unique and interesting as well as humorous, and it shows that some incidents, no matter how bizarre or "fetishy", can lead you off on a journey you couldn't see comin a mile away...
Asking out the wrong girl he thought he saw, and meeting a fierce yet devotional hottie combined with a mature and mature childhood friend add up to 4 love interests...
It's ALL been done before, but the roles that each play is both it's charm and it's heart...
Even though the lead, has mixed feelings for all, he (at least) likes them (and respects them) for what they mean to them as there own people.
This creates more individualism while avoiding conflict between the heroines at the same time.
One of the most dramatic parts of the show is the leads biggest fear: If I choose one all the others will leave...
Very rare for a harem lead to be aware of the dangers of having more than one girl like you, and also care about the feelings of the other girls too...
As unique as this harem is, its still a harem. And like most harems based on manga, this one doesn't go all the way to the end.
Art: 8/10
The characters are what make this score so high. Every character, main and supporting, have their own unique figure and style about them.
Body language, hairstyle, facial features, etc. It's not cutting edge though so don't expect like a Picasso or something like that...
Studio is Madhouse which is currently best known for Death Note.
It may not have the sharp look, but the animation is certainly present.
Sound: 8/10
Again, this is one of the more subtler perks about he series.
The OP was quite boring altogether, but the END! It's just one of the best anime endings in existence!!! No joke!!!
The background music is peppy and sweet during those harem-y moments. But other than that, typical.
I only give 8 because of the AWESOME END!!! Other than that a 7 (It's been a while since I've seen it, so memories are a bit hazy...).
Character: 10/10
Ah, the best part!
The lead is, arguably, the weakest character. But he's the best guy to be the lead at the same time!
As I've mentioned above, he cares for each girl based on who "they" are and what they mean to him. He isn't one of those leads where he bases everything on how much attention he gets (no matter how much he wants to be like that...).
That said the strongest characters are the heroines: Aya, Nishino, Satsuki, and Yui.
Aya is the shy bookworm type, and is the one who started this absurd story... She is the weakest in terms of personality, but she is also the one who is stringed along the most. In most scenes you'll either love or hate her.
Nishino is the one he "mistook" and in doing so, dragged along for the ride. She has a lot of hope for him, but doesn't let his indecisiveness drag down her future though. The smartest of the four as well as the most perceptive.
Satsuki is the sexy, and athletic one. She starts off hating him, but realizes his strengths much faster than the others and also falls in love with him the quickest. The most devoted, her personality makes her my favorite. Due to her devotion, she is often the one he goes to the most, making her happy but also disheartened.
Yui is the only one that is not really a love interest. She is more of a protector of him. Due to their very sibling like relationship, she does very erotic things around him not really caring for is content in the matter. She is a fun character, and looks up to Nishino and looks down on Satsuki.
The characters are what make the series special.
Enjoyment: 10/10
Watching an anime that is not profound and cliche is called "fluff". And that's what this is: fluff.
Fluff is 99% of the time fun, except when you realize that there are others that could be better...
But at the time, I was having fun, and that's all that matters when you watch anime. Having fun.
If you're doing that 100% (no pun intended), then you're okay!
Overall: 8/10
The ultimate problem with harem, is that it's an attractive story element. So attractive that people get lazy with creating new ways to exploit/explore it.
Most people dislike harem, because they can all be compared by very obvious traits.
Such is Strawberry 100%, but what makes this one so much fun, is also what makes this different.
And is further proof, that most people continue to watch harem anime to find the one with the right traits and the most unique additives.
+ A very easy anime to watch without worrying about potential mood killers
+ Art, sound, and, especially characters, are very pleasing to look at and enjoy in
- Cliche when it comes to story, no conclusive ending (manga continues...)
- Those who dislike harem and ecchi should steer CLEAR... read more

Both are harems with over-done, annoying, perverted, and extremely wimpy male leads (even more than the usual harem)
Harems with many ecchi moments

these two are similar because they both have the same romance comedy vibe although Ichgo 100% has a bigger harem and more romance. the manga verison are also nice too.
This 2 animes background are both located at school environment, 2 or more female characters are interested in the main leading male character which in both cases, are your typical average joe and both animes shows the male character struggles to choose and getting along with them.
