Both are shoujo anime, feature a love build up between characters and lots of comedy in between. 

Loner girl being pursued by the popular guy. Give it try if you want that same flavor again. Although, the artwork is much better in Sukitte. Both heroines are very sweet. 

Both have Introverted female protagonists with a guy who's tries to connect with her. Similar drama, and comedic moments! 

Both are incredibly similar in plot and characters. Sukitte is pretty much the poor man's Kimi ni Todoke. 

Awkward girls meeting popular boys and overall changing in the process. 

Both series are about a girl who don't have real friends and falls in love with the most populair boy of the whole school. Mei might not really resemble Sawako because Mei does it on purpose and Sawako doesn't but it's the same feeling. Yamato and Shouta remind me of each other. So I guess if you know one of the two that you would love the other!

The guy is popular with girls but he doesn't go for the most popular girl. Though in Sukitte li na yo things move a lot faster and the guy is not as shy as in Kimi ni Todoke. If you ejoyed Kimi ni Todoke, you'll surely enjoy this one.

These two anime are quite similar... Mei and Sawako: Both are outcasts and are ignored by other students until a popular boy comes along to changes their situation. They fall in love with the boy. Yamato and Shouta: Both are popular and well liked by both genders, but they both have flaws that most people don't notice. Many problems come flowing around but in the end their bond stays strong. 

Well, it's hard to not think about these two series when watching either one tbh. Kimi ni Todoke and Sukitte Ii na yo are two bittersweet both romance series that has drama written all over it. We have the popular guy at a school setting in both series who has many friends and admirers. Then, we have the unpopular girl who is plain and lacks friends. But one day, she meets that popular guy and they form a special bond. Both series has comedy, drama, romance, but also some emotional moments.  

Both Series are Shoujo anime where a popular guy going after a rather antisocial girl......over all Kimi ni Todoke and Sukitte Ii na yo are incredibly similar, so if you enjoyed one you'll probably enjoy the other one. 

I find the characters quite similar with each other. Kazehaya Shouta with Yamato Kurosawa, them being the oh-so-popular guy in school, giving off the 100% refreshing feel. Girls are head over heels on them. And both are attracted to this introverted, not so popular, unsociable type of girl, (Sawako Kuronuma and Mei Tachibana) The antagonist on both series are similar as well. Ume Kurumizawa and Megumi Kitagawa. They both act sweet and friendly with everyone but those are not their true intentions. They get too jealous to the main female lead to the extent that they're willing to spread fake rumors to ruin them, and in order to get the attention of the main guy. The flow of the plot from both series is pretty similar. Both giving off the fluffy fluffy feels.  read more

The female protagonist is a little different and mostly misunderstood while the male is popular, out going, friendly and good looking all in one. 

In both series main character is very shy, quiet and introvert person and her opposite is a boy she fell in love with. There is romance, school and great atmosphere. 

The popular guy falls in love with the girl who has no friends. But, Sukitte Ii na yo. is a bit more rushed with the feelings.  

Similarities : - Art style. - Story progression - A shy girl getting a relationship with the most popular boy in school. - The support characters is quite similar. In my opinion, Kimi ni Todoke is still fairly better than Sukitte li na yo in all ways. 

Both anime have similar art, and the character are also rather similar. Mei and Sawako are very similar in that they are both somehow misfits, but Kurosawa is not as shy as Kazehaya. It's a very sweet and heart racing anime. 

Both are about a girl who's introverted and has no friends because of some particular reason, the guy is popular with everyone and he's the one who likes her, not her who at first likes him. I guess from what I've seen until now the difference is that Sawako is trying to make friends while Mei doesn't want that. 

Both are romances with a quiet girl, a well-liked guy, and lots of misunderstandings. They are both sort of frustrating, in a way.

Both these series contain similar situations with the characters. In both series, a very popular boy is attracted to the main character. Both are similar romance stories. 

A girl who has no friends encounters the most popular boy in highschool, from then on a relationship forms. Both girls are not open, and not good at making friends, seen as weird by most people. Male protagonist is very kind and truely loved the girl, many obstacles to overcome as relationship builds. Sukitte is much faster Paced and has an overall better plot/art/charectars and if youve seen kimi ni todoke you MUST watch this its just a much better version. 

Both protagonists are outcast anti-socials. However one day, they somehow bump into one of their school's most popular guys and he befriends them. But ultimately teaches her how to open up, making more friend, with of course: love triangles, crying, and drama. The story also slightly focuses on the female lead's friends and their romances. Kimi ni Todoke seems more upbeat, soft, and relaxed despite the occasional drama. Sukitte li na yo is more dramatic and their romance progresses much faster than Kimi ni todoke does. Most likely if you love one then you will probably end up loving the other, that is, if you like one because of the plot and story line. read more 

This is a similar anime mostly because there's a huge romance layout with problems and resolutions. Mei and Sawako: both are outcasts and they scare other students. They both are ingnored though by other students until a popular boy comes along and changes their situation. Yamato and Shouta: Both are popular and well liked by both genders, but they both have flaws that most people don't notice. There's also girls in both anime that make their relationship close to ending, but the couple in both of these anime stay strong. 

- Both have very un-popular female main characters - Both have a very attracting male main characters - Both have 2 female friends who help her through situations. 

Both have a similar initial set up: misunderstood/anti-social girl helped by the most popular guy around. Kimi ni Todoke, however, does it smarter and better. The stories strikingly similar, but one will find this one to have better development and a more satisfying ending. If you liked Sukitte Ii na yo, I can guarantee you'll enjoy Kimi ni Todoke. 

The story in these 2 animes is almost the same. The main character is a girl without any friend, and who doesn't wabt to make any friend because her feelings were hurt in the past. In both animes, the most popular guy in the town, and the idol of the school fall in love with these girl, and then he try to make her love him and socialize with others. Soon te girl fall in love too with the boy but she never say: i love you, just in her heart. The boy is sorrounded by pretty girls, and soon his best friend fall in love with his girlfriend. If you're searching for a good romance with a ot of kisses, then you can't miss this anime. read more 

Same plot basically, characters are alike, Kimi ni Todoke focuses on before relationship, Sukkite Ii na yo focuses more on building good relationship 

Sweet romance shows where at the beginning the main girl is isolated at school, but both have different reasons for that. While Mei just don't want to have friends, with Sawako just happens because people is scared of her. In both shows the life of the girl changes totally once they met the most popular guy on school.  

Clumsy, shy, yet lovable protagonist meets handsome, sensitive, wildly popular male lead who also happens to be inexplicably smitten with her 

Both animes are about a really unpopular girl who is under an impression of being scary/freaky. Both of the male heroines are also the most popular males in the school and somehow fall in love with them.

These series both really touch your heart. They both give you a heartwarming feeling, but on another note could also make you cry. If you are a rom-com lover, be sure to check these out! They both have: -an amazing love story. -some drama, but just the right amount. -the main girls were both bullied. -the main guys helps the girls to live their life to the fullest. if you love one, most likely you'll adore the other. 

both series have a girl that seems unapproachable and is unable to make friends. However, after a particular guy approaches her, she begins to change, make friends and has more self-confidence. 

Both of these anime series are about a quite girl who doesn't have any friends and opens up to a a nice boy who is popular. 

Shy girl meets popular guy, the world changes for them ;) Similar storyline, romance and drama. 

Similar to Kimi ni Todoke due to the fact that both girls has a shortage of friends in school and the male character helps her overcome that. But by all means both shows are very different in execution, but both are recommended to watch. 

Very similar mood. Both are shoujo, very romantic but sweet. Both main characters find it difficult to interact with people and are brought out of their shells by a popular boy. Kimi Ni Todoke is funnier, though, but overall both shows are great. 

Both are high school romances, and both have a popular guy falling for the odd girl who doesn't fit in. The female heroine in both are quite peculiar characters, not your typical cutesy girl I guess. Both focuses on how people can change when they meet new people and when they fall in love :)  

If you like the thought of a popular guy that sticks up for and falls in love with the girl everyone picks on with many beautiful and sad moments I really recommend these :) 

Mc girl is very shy and awkward and fall for the most popular boy in school. They struggle to convey their feelings which leads to misunderstandings. Both have typical shoujo school setting and the girls grow a lot through out the series. Both are very heart warming stories that will touch your heart, if you like one of them I'll guarantee you'll like the other. 

They both revolve around a girl with no friends that gets picked up by one of the most popular guys in the school. Both girls go through trials and tribulations of school life. 

We have popular guy and lonely girl fall for each other story in both animes. With the help of main guys, girls learn to break their shells and make friends. 

the concept is pretty similar; a girl meets boy that changes her world. both have very cute moments but hardships are bound to happen. definitely watch sukitte li na yo if you want something like kimi ni todoke ! 

Both Shoujo, the main characters are very similar, the plot is very similar, and both romances progress at a slow pace. If you like romantic and cliche "misunderstandings", romantic triangles, and moments when you just want to yell at them "Just kiss already!" then this one is for you. 

Both animes are about a female MC who have trouble fitting in but get help from the most popular guy in the school. (Both are unpopular females with popular male characters) There is a difference in these two animes. In Sukitte li na yo, the MC went through horrible experiences in the past when it came to friends and them betraying her, so she chooses not to fit in and never to have friends Whereas in Kimi ni Todoke, even though she also didn't have a good past due to people avoiding her, the female MC tries her best to fit in but is commonly turned down each time due to her uncanny resemblance to the evil girl from the ring and her inability to properly talk and greet people without looking menacing. Similarity: Both animes have a female MC who gets talked to by the most popular guy in school. Both of which act extremely nice and try to help and crack the main characters and eventually fall for them. Both stories are cute and fangirly to watch and are both filled with tons of drama and romance as well. Kimi ni Todoke has a lot more comedy than Sukitte li na yo, but that won't stop you from enjoying both. I rate both a 8/10. If you're a romance/drama/comedy lover and are looking for a good couple, love dovey anime, I recommend these two. read more 

both of these are romance anime, and they are both about shy/girls who like to be alone...both of these anime have a guy who's popular and falls for the main girl. 

I would say that Kimi ni Todoke and Sukitte Ii na yo are unique romance anime that are not repetitive or so similar to the same plots of other romance anime. Also, they have a unique plot and connections with different characters. What I mean not similar to plots of other romance anime are the like the ones who falls in love with someone else because of their looks or how long they spend time with them. I know there are others that understands what the person they love feels, but this is very different.  

Both are cute romance animes about first love. Both have good comedy, a Korean Drama, and the way the 2 mc meet is strangely unique.

There is A LOT of love-tension, although this series progresses much more quickly than Kimi Ni Todoke. Both series' main characters are fairly shy to start with and a bit outsider for one reason or another.  

Both have male protagonists who are popular and female ones who don't have friends and they become a couple which makes other people jealous. 

- Both are about a girl who is an outcast in school though they have very opposite perceptions about friend making. - Both also have a very popular male lead who is curious about the girl and wants to befriend her. - The two have pretty much the same premise. Mei isn't quite as dark as Sawako, but she still has problems interacting with others, and Yamato is just like Kazehaya, except he moves quicker. - If you liked Kimi ni Todoke or Suki-tte Ii na yo, you should check the other out. Suki-tte Ii na yo, reminds me of a faster pace version of Kimi ni Todoke. As you can tell from the title of episode one of Suki-tee Ii na you, it's much faster paced, but it works well for this anime. I wouldn't want Kimi ni Todoke to be much faster than it is, and so far I wouldn't want Suki-tte Ii na yo to be any slower than it is. read more 

Both are heartwarming slice-of-life stories about a misunderstood social outcast whose relationship with the most popular boy in high school starts her on a bittersweet journey of self-discovery, during which she falls in love and learns to open up to the world despite various misunderstandings and constant bullying from jealous classmates. What most sets them apart from one another is that 'Sukitte Ii na yo.' is more serious and mainly focuses on the MC's intensifying relationship with her boyfriend, while 'Kimi ni Todoke' finds the MC still discovering how she feels about herself and the people around her, and has a surprisingly comedic bent at times. Also, 'Kimi ni Todoke' is three times longer (if you include both seasons) with a much slower story progression, spending a considerable amount of its time delving into the feelings experienced by the characters on-screen. If you are a fan of shoujo or romance, both of these shows are absolute must-sees, and well worth a binge! read more 

Popular handsome sought after guy falls for the shy awkward friendless girl. Both have that theme in common. Sukitte is faster paced and Kimi takes its time building the relationships and characters. In my opinion Kimi ni Todoke has a better story, characters and is better overall, but Sukitte Ii na yo isn't bad by any means. So, if you liked Sukitte, you'll love Kimi ni Todoke. 

Both series have female protagonists who are shy or excluded from the rest of the girls. Both of the male protagonists in the animes are popular.  

A lot of simple comedy. Slow recognition of their feelings. Sweet and simple romance story. 

Good novels are always welcome, Kimi ni Todoke with all his subtlety deserves this recommendation. 

Sawako and Mei are similar and so are kazehaya and yamato the story line is romance, also very sweet and cute. 

Shoujo anime about an antisocial/misunderstood girl being pulled out of her shell by a kind and sociable guy. 

Both have a socially awkward female lead, but Say "I Love You" is less of a slow burn romance then Kimi ni Todoke. 

Sukitte Ii na yo is similar to Kimi ni Todoke in every aspect, especially in the term of storyline and characters. if you like heartwarming anime with a little friendship and friendzone stuff, then they will be a suit choice

Both are romance stories between a not-so-social girl and a popular guy. Both are really good animes that talk about embracing love for friends and family and being more open to the good things in life. In both, the ML is also very sweet, and they have the same vibe.  

the characters in both of these anime are very similar, which makes similar stuff happen. They’re both about how a girl found herself, and fell in love with the popular boy as well.  

If you want another anime where the popular boy falls in love with the unpopular girl you got Suki tte li na yo (Say "I love you") 

The resemblance between these two are amazingly high: - Guy and a Girl - The girl doesn't have friends because of something that happened in the past - The guy falls for the girl and wants to protect her and so on.. just watch the first episode of both

In both shoujos the main female character doesn't really have a strong social life or any friends, but everything changes after a certain guy comes into their life. Both are very enjoyable. 

•both are the usual shoujo, romance, school life, comedy genre...... •both have a main protagonist girl that chooses not to have friends •both have a well handsome/good looking/cute male that falls head over heels for them •both girls slowly develop feelings for them, and address by confessing the issue in the first couple of episodes •both males want to protect the girl •both gain friends/rivals •similar in the typical school life romance.

Both anime have a cold girl who changes a boy. . . 

Both female protagonists have basically the same views before they meet a boy who changes them. To me, these anime are very similar! Am I the only one that sees it!?!?  

Both main characters don't have any friends at the beginning and avoid other people. Both come in touch with a boy who sees them differently 

- Both Shizuku and Mei don't care about socializing, but that changes after they meet Haru and Yamato. - Both Haru and Yamato are insecure about their relationship with their girlfriend. Haru dislikes Shizuku spending time with Yamaken, while Yamato dislikes Mei getting closer to Kai.

Both also include a very small, but notable love triangle. 

It is definitly a quick romance that displays a girl who learns lessons on life while liking a cool, most popular, good looking guy in the school. This anime does have a cute, and sweet atmosphere when watching the 2 mains 

Both are touching stories about unlikely high school couples. Both have similar reclusive female protagonists 

They both show the development of awkward characters as they begin to realize (slowly) a sweet love. 

The main heroine both have their lives changed once they make friends and fall in love. Sukitte li na yo is a more realistic take on high school that deals with bullying and emotional problems. Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun is more light hearted with more comedy but are great 

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (My little monster-English name) and Sukitte Ii na yo. (Say "I love you") both start the same. There is a unpopular girl, and a boy who's not like her... In My little Monster, the boy (Haru) is misunderstood for being a delinquent type character after spilling blood on the first day. In Say I love you, Yamato is the most popular guy in school and seemingly out of reach. In both anime, there is a confession in the first episode. They both have manga that continue the story. So really, they both are fast-moving romance anime with a lot of comedy. 

Both made from the same creator and have a cute love story. As they both have some hilarious side characters and adorable side romances. Both girls have that 2nd boy that are head over heals for them, but can't except there love. I promise you that neither of them will disappoint you! 

To start of both shows have same genres (shoujo,slice of life,romance,school..etc.) The main Character of Sukitte ii na yo is similair to Shizuku (the MC of TnKk) ,at the start both of them don't have friends and obviously no love experience and are saying to them selfs stuff like ''I don't need friends they only use each other'',''I don't have time for that'',and then you have Yamato and Haru (The male MCs of the show) that both pick an intrest to these ''anti-social'' girls and so love slowly starts blooming (lol) -Sorry for the sucky description,but you should give them a try, i guarantee that you will like both of them :) read more 

The animes are actually very similar. Both Mei and Shizuku are very reserved and "lone wolfish" until their love interest appears turning their world upside down. The only main difference that may or may not upset people is Sukitte Ii Na Yo doesn't have a beach scene[the manga does though!]. Sukitte Ii Na Yo also is a bit more mature than Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun on the relationship aspect. Say I Love You is also a bit rushed but so is My Little Monster since they both kiss in the first episode. They're both great and cute short series of romance to watch if you want a bit of tsundere in your anime love life.  read more 

They are both about an ani-social girl that ended up opening up because of a guy... 

- Both of these anime have the same type of main characters, the unsociable girl that eventually makes friends, and the tall, black-haired male. - Similiar Storyline. - They are both full of misunderstandings because of the characters keeping their thoughts for themselves without telling anyone. - Both anime series consist of characters that are "new" to love. - Both of these series center around high shool romance, while Tonari is more quirky and fun, Suki-tte is more of a coming of age drama type. Sukitte Ilnayo is much more innocent and lovey-dovey, while Kaibatsu has a lot more comedy. But that being said they are both very well done love stories between two unlikely people. read more 

Socializing is a drag, really. Both female characters have a rather weak social life, and just struggle with their friend-relationships. Later, both are pushed over their limit by ongoing extroverted male leads, and slowly-- or perhaps unexpectedly develop a love-relationship. 

Main characters have completely different personalities, yet have a very cute relationship. Jealousy and friendship are two topics that are very important in this anime.  

The love between the characters are quite similar both very cute and focused on school and romance and they are both shoujo  

What nice twist of fate. You are a quiet girl, minding your own business, and it just so happens that the really hot guy in town falls for you. As if shoujo couldn't be any more shameless. Regardless, these two stories have their protagonists, Shizuku and Mei, have their experiences dating the hot guy trying to get closer to one another, at such young ages too. They are blissful stories of young love and what treasures lie within them. Full of sweet moments everyone loves romance to have. Seriously, could you ask for any more? Maybe a less bothersome male protag but they both work well. Wouldn't you know, they are products of their time too (seasonal-wise too)? read more 

The backstory of how the female leads becoming a loner, and the story of how the female leads threw away their loner behavior by meeting a male lead is almost the same. Both female leads slowly growing a feeling by doing some interactions that the male leads do to them and changing their way of living. 

The romance and their relationship is as soft as in Bgi. The art style is very beautiful, also in Bokura ga ita kind of original I may add. There are also past events that have an impact on characters' relationship.  

Both series are lighthearted romantic comedies that is filled with drama, comedy, and romance. Bokura ga Ita and Sukitte Ii na yo. both has a main girl who is average and normal while the main male protagonist is popular and well liked. However, as they get to know each other, both of them begins to develop feelings. Both series also has misunderstandings that deals with jealousy that takes place at a school life setting. 

Both are a romance anime Both have characters that warm up to your heart Both are very engaging and will make you happy,sad,angry and jealous! 

Bokura ga Ita is more realistic than Sukitte Ii na yo, but some situations from each is similar and the characters from each anime/manga share similar personality traits. Honestly I would recommend Bokura ga Ita in a heart beat over Sukitte Ii na yo, because the Sukittie Ii na yo anime wasn't that great(I prefer the manga way more). Although I love the Sukitte Ii na yo manga, I haven't read the Bokura ga Ita manga yet, so I can't compare them until I do...I'll be sure to recommend it when I do(then you will get a great comparison paragraph) PS: Bokura ga Ita isn't your average shoujo(I'm not even sure if I want to call a shoujo), its a true realistic love story...thats what makes it so beautiful(I rate it a 10/10). Genre for both anime: Romance, Shoujo ... These two anime are full of romance ,love problems,interruption in relationship etc. Trust me you won't regret :D 

Another anime with a similar art feeling as well as a similar theme of love and relationship difficulties. The heroines of both, Nanami and Mei, fall in love with the popular guy and struggle with what to do afterwards, leading them on a rollercoaster of thoughts and emotions throughout as their relationships evolve, dissolve, and resolve throughout. 

Both are very emotional animes that show development within relationships and hardships between characters. They both have two highschool students dating, one being an insecure and shy girl who is with a well known, popular, handsome guy that is rumored to be a playboy.  

Personally, I didn't like either of these series, but to those who do, these two series are very similar in a few ways: -The girls are comparing themselves to other people. -The relationship starts early on. -There's plenty of drama in both series. -Both main protagonists have some secrets of their own. So yes, I personally did not find these enjoyable, but to the fans of shoujo anime, these are quite similar in every which way. 

They were both about the love of youths.. They were kinda similar to each other and you could really feel the romance, happiness and sadness in love 

They both are Shoujo Anime. They have romance between popular guy and a normal girl in a school. It should be noted that Bokura ga ita is more dramatic. 

Both shows focus more on the 'after confession' part of the relationship, rather than the buildup to it. They also explore all sides of a relationship, from the good to the bad Both pairs also show similarities as the females are both relatively quiet and softspoken, whereas the males are your classic most popular in the class 

Taking place in a school life environment, both series represent classic shoujo with its cast of characters. The main female protagonist has a complex relationship with the main male protagonist. Throughout both series, there are obstacles that tests their relationship as well. The female protagonist also makes friends with others but suffers from a lack of confidence on occasions. They also get ostracized by certain friends as result of the relationships she develops with others. Recommended for fans of romance/shoujo. Ao Haru Ride has more comedy while Sukitte li no yo conveys more drama.

Obvious recommendation is obvious. Ao Haru Ride has the same exact mood Sukitte Ii na yo has. It's quaint with a little bit of comedy, but is dramatic and depicts what relationships are like. 

Sukitte Ii na yo and Ao Haru Ride are not completely similar, however they do have some things in common. For example: -Both take place around a school setting -Have similar art/animation -Both of the main characters face hardship in their relationship -Characters learn how to love/care for someone. If you like cheesy romance stuff, these are anime you must watch! :) 

Both anime have this school romance thing going on, with a cute guy and a "complicated" girl who keep pushing the guy away. Both anime have lovable characters that you just cannot start to love, but at the same time, both of the anime got this girl in the main role, who can be a little bit annoying. But overall, both are hella amazing, and if you have seen one of them, then you would totally love the other one. 

The romance between the two cannot be judged. The Romance development between both of these is amazing, if you enjoyed the High school romance setting in Say i Love you with the Ups and Downs then you will also enjoy Ao Haru Ride, both similar and different with there own developments and twists. 

As Ao Haru Ride, Sukitte li na yo is a sweet romance story. I really enjoyed it and I really recommend it, specially because it has more romance scenes than ao haru. It has an emotional backstory and a happy romantic end. 

Two amazing and touching shows. Both Sukitte Ii na yo and Ao Haru Ride: - Are shoujo. - Have cool and relaxing atmosphere. - Involve the process of making friends and adapting to school life. - Explore the romance between the main characters. 

They are both romance anime, I'd say that because I watched Ao haru ride I found Sukitte li na yo pleasing to watch as it was a smooth transition and filled my need for more of the love Ao haru ride couldn't give me in it's ending. 

If you like slice of life and romance, these shows are for you. These animes may seem like those cheesy romance animes at first, however, both Ao Haru Ride and Sukitte Ii Na Yo. can make you fall in love with the characters seamlessly throughout the story. These shows portray how the characters open up to one another and learn life lessons through their own friend groups. They also hold many similarities such as dealing with change at school, finding your real (or true) friends, and opening up to love. 

Just similar... Popular boy protects (innocent/ frank) girl who (at first) has no interest in romance, but eventually falls in love with the main protagonist. 

It starts the same, boy meets girl who is different from the others same apply for usui and Yamato, The art differs in the eyes, but it doesnt really mater if ur in it for the story.Kaichou as comedy as well as little drama , so as sukitte Ii na yo that is why i recommend them both good and fun to watch :3 Ps: you'll find usui/yamato really alike (Strong,handsome with a lot a girls around the, but only caring for one) 

This anime is kinda like Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama with a guy following or a guy loves a beautiful-yet-no friends girl.. And he saves her from a dude by kissing her in the lips directly.. And there story goes on.. 

Both anime's follow a relationship between a girl and a boy. Both boys are the most popular and loved in the school, while the girls are distant within life. Also, the girls are saved by the boy at least once in each anime. Cute, funny, girly and super romantic. Check out Sukitte Ii na yo if you loved Kaichou wa Maid-sama!  

Both are similar in that the main male character falls for the main female character. Watching Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, I immediately thought of Sukitte Ii na yo. 10/10 give both a try.  

Both have lots of comedy and romance. But kaichou wa maid sama is more of a secret love while the other is very open. I don't know hot so explain this but it is totally worth watching if u love romance and comedy animes 

In Kaichou wa Maid-sama! she has friend in female gender but in Sukitte Ii na yo? does not ave any in non gender. Leader male is handsome,tall and looking good,who is center attraction. That fall for a girl who is center of unattractive. After,one eye contact the boy falls for the girl,then the girl starting to have friend and it story goes. Both have wonderful Love story. Same genres

A romantic anime where two polar opposite characters falling for eachother . 

Both are shoujo anime about a cute love story. Both male characters have nice and helpful personalities, and the female characters are both misunderstood people. 

Both are about a tsundere girl and, despite the difference in the amount of episodes, are similiar in character development. 

Say I Love You is similar yet very different than Toradora. Both anime follow a building relationship between the two main characters. If you are looking for a good rom-com, I would totally recommend Toradora!! 

Both rom-coms based on misunderstandings between the main male and female characters. They both come across light-hearted at funny while also tackling deeper topics (e.g. trust in relationships). Overall they're both just really cute romances. 

Girl is somewhat isolated and aloof from rest of classmates at school. Both high school dramas. In Sukitte Ii na yo only the female protagonist is an outcast and misunderstood while both male and female protagonsits are weirdos in Toradora. Both female protagonists very shy and timid when it comes to pronouncing romantic feelings. Tons of awkward moments but the payoff is great. The greatest similarity is the female protagonist who is initially very lonely and misunderstood with the male protagonist becoming their key to happiness. Both shows are pretty different, but have similar vibes.

Sukitte Ii na yo is similar to Toradora because both follow a group of high schoolers who are just getting to know what love is all about. Of course, we have the tsundere female lead, (in)famous male lead (one is beloved and the other is feared, for no reason), their friend group, the popular model who has a change of heart, etcetera. But what matters most, they both really tap into the lives of teenagers, stuff they go through, and their journeys to understanding love.  

These two are love triangles that revolves around a cast of high schoolers who have similar roles such as a male who is cool and respectful and a female mc who misunderstood people. 

The main character is an unpopular girl that loves the hottest guy in school. Though his character is sadistic and treats the girl like a dog as a reward for posing as her boyfriend they soon fall in love with each other. This anime is the first one that came in my mind when i saw Sukitte li na yo and i highly recommend you watch it. 

The romance in both of these anime is extremely cute yet slightly cringe worthy at times. If you're not a fan of secondhand embarrassment these shows probably aren't for you. Ookami shoujo to kuro ouji is my favorite shoujo/romance of all time. I felt that the premise was unique even within the romance genre and the endings were satisfying and well executed (although I'm still hoping for a season 2 for both shows).  

Both of the series have one of the lead characters chasing for the love of the other in "Say I love you" it is Yamato who wants Mei to admit that she loves but she is too embarrassed to say it, "Wolf girl and black prince" it is the exact opposite it is Erika that wants to hear the 3 magic words from Kyouya who is shy to say them. Both stories end with the shy leads finally admitting that they are in loves with their significant others (however it happens earlier in "Wolf girl" than in "Say I love You")  

If you're looking for another awesome romance anime, that will make your heart skip a beat, then this series is the one for you! Although there are some flaws within the anime, I still enjoyed this series. If you're just a casual anime fan, than more the reason you need to watch this anime, right now!  

The similarities are evident. It is about the romantic relationship between a sexy famous guy and a normal girl. Both anime have love story with tender medoly which can make young girls feel lovely 

School Romance Difference: Heroine is shy 

Romance anime where one of them is an introvert and the other is an extrovert. 

Both of these romance anime surround the relationship of an unpopular, socially awkward person with someone that has much more experience with people. The first season of 3D Kanojo was very similar to Sukitte Ii na yo (almost a little too similar), but I think season two was better and it took the anime in a different direction which made it a lot more satisfying. They are definitely both good anime if you are in the mood for romance. 

Well for starters it follows the "popular guy with unpopular girl" idea except it is the opposite in 3D Kanojo (popular girl, not in a good way tho, and unpopular guy, an otaku). Another thing would be that both of these anime are rather fast-paced. One more similarity is that they both have a kiss in the first ep. The way the characters meet is a bit different though. 3D kanojo also has some other things that cause it to have more drama. Though I would say that in the 2nd season it ends up as a tearjerker (it actually made me cry for a sec, and i didn't cry in any other animes, check my anime list and decided for yourself) read more 

If there is love, there is a relationship. In both series, there's both of that. Both series features a plain looking girl who attracts the attention of a very popular guy at school. They have a strange relationship at first but later on begins to have real feelings for one another. Both series takes place at a school environment that brings forth drama, comedy, romance, and other factors that also deals with some emotions. There are supporting characters in both series that becomes obstacles to the duo in their perspective series often creating complications in relationships.  

Both anime is about high school and love growing between the two main characters. But Itazura na kiss is throughout their young life until adulthood which is great as it shows 'love' can last throughout high school, university and work. Also if you want comedy next to love then you will truly love the beauty of Itazura na Kiss. Furthermore, the two animes is about opposite attraction. So give it ago.  

Both animes have a "miserable" person, and someone to make them feel better. :) 

Love has no boundaries. Say I Love You and Clanand both feature a cynical MC outcasting themselves only to come and befriend another who has some interest one way or another. Say I Love You follows cynical Mei creating relations with a popular Yamato. Clannad follows pessimistic Tomoya and strange Nagisa building relationships after he had nothing else to do with his life. Both are good romance drama about people gaining a little more faith in life.

Unique main characters , cool and warm at the same time , it makes a better mood . It's like having a good meal .Despite eating multiple times a day ,you instantly get hungry and every time you eat you feel happy . If you have a bite while starving you just get hungrier and want more . That's how I felt when watching paradise kiss and sukitte ii na yo so I felt that i have to recommend it to those who liked sukitte ii na yo. 

I know at first glance they seem completely different, but there is a similarity that I love about both. Both tell the story that revolves around a main couple. In both, the two not only struggle to become an item, but even when they are a thing, they still have obstacles they have to face that test their love for each other. 

Just like in Sukitte Ii na yo, Kuzu no Honkai also focuses on teenage romantic and sexual feelings along with being very dramatic as well. Each character in both series has their own story to tell and hardships that shape them into who they are and why they do the things they do. If you want something like Sukitte Ii na yo but with a darker atmosphere, then I highly recommend Kuzu no Honkai!

this anime also has a good english dub and is a romance with ups and down that will keep you on the edge on your seat! the love triangles are very similar and every episode is entertaining. (no filler!!)  

IF u're looking for romance and sol anime like 'say i love you' than relife is perfect i guess.  

If you were to take mixes of the show Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun and mash it with Kare Kano, the baby would be Sukitte Ii na yo. Or, reverse, if you take Tonari and Sukitte Ii na yo, and make babies with them, the result is Kare Kano. 

They both have similar concept of a popular guy falling for a girl who is most shy in school and had given up on making friends. In both anime the guy tries to change the girl to start making friends and to be beautiful. In both anime the main guy is a model but in Say I love you ,he was a model for short time. The main guy seems to be chasing my many girls who can do anything for his love. But in Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge there are many guys who tries to change the girl. 

Although the genre of Inu x Boku SS is somewhat different to Sukitte Ii na yo, it is definitely a romance anime among everything else. Similarities: The girl is shy and distrusts everyone around her. The main male love interest is tall and handsome, and is shown to have other woman interested in him as a result. There are fluffy love moments like in Sukitte Ii na yo. The main girl develops as a person, and starts letting people into her life. School is a part of the show, however the romance doesn't take place there. The main male isn't displayed to be above the main girl, but however she does still look up to him. Differences: There is the incorporation of the supernatural. The main male is older than the girl and isn't a student alongside her. It isn't a school based show, rather most of the show is centred around the fancy hotel that the main characters all live in. All in all if you are not set in having the same school romance set up, then the interaction between the main characters and the developing love story will satisfy you after finishing Sukitte Ii na yo! :D read more
