Both features a plot where a hero and a demon traverse through worlds to live in a new culture and comedy occurs as a result. Neither main characters are slouches. These characters are powerful and even in the new world, adapts very well within the premise given. Hagure Yuusha features way too much ecchi fanservice however (perhaps way too excessive for some), while Maou-sama makes fun of the whole poverty issue when a powerful figure have fallen so far.

Both series have a main character who has some kind of special ability to undress women; which leads to many ecchi situations. The series have ecchi and uncensored boobs in common, but also have a lot of dissimilarities (for example: in Hagure Yuusha the MC is very badass, while in Highschool DxD the MC starts as a perverted loser). But if you enjoy watching ecchi and boobs you'll most likely enjoy watching both.

Similarities: Both have the same setting where it is set in a magical school. Both involves the same brother and sister tandem attending the same school and are in the same year level. Both have the same action, magic, adventure and supernatural genre. Both have the same character where the brother is a top performing student. Dissimilarities: One involves a true brother and sister tandem, while in the other anime the siblings are unrelated. The main guy in one anime was cocky, arrogant and a pervert, while the main guy in the other anime is noble, respectful and a gentleman. The school uniform for girls in one anime is kinda conservative while  read more

Both about a hero, a hero training academy, and a demon lord's sexy yet slightly airheaded daughted. The resemblance is uncanny.

Both are very good action/ecchii anime. Both have lots of girls (fanservice) and characters with special powers. Both are kind of set around a school theme. Both great anime to watch.

Both anime are set in an "magical academy" and the characters have supernatural power. Beside the main character have a "principal girl" in his life and an harem

An anime that contains action, fantasy, school, and girls surrounded by the male protagonist. If you love a very powerful male character and not the typical "just an average boy" or "suddenly discovers a hidden power" bull crap (like give me a break!) then you'll like this :)

Similarities: Same red head girl with big boobies who belongs to demon hierarchy. Same guy with special ability who is in custodian of red head girl. Same adventure, fantasy, demon and magic genre. Dissimilarities: Guy in one anime is an asshole while the guy in the other is chivalrous and noble. One anime has an extra ecchi and school genre while the other has romance as its extra genre.

Both have that MC who is somewhat one wouldn't wanna cross paths with unless one wants to lose in the end. Also both have that same MC whose personality was one part heroic and one part perverted, it also has that one girl who can go along with the MC's personality provided that she keeps an eye on the MC from doing something that she would not like.

I feel like "Hagure Yuuha no Estetica" is the grown up version of "Seiken Tsukai no World Break!" Both have the talented "Oni-sama" that goes out of their way to protect their little "sister" and do so fabulously! These series share the adventure of a new start at a school for the gifted, if you're looking for a magical time definitely check out these two series!

Both have main character who is more antiheroe than heroe. Both have magic, dragons, fights and a lot of ecchi moments. Similar humour taste. Hagure Yuusha has better technical quality but Bastard has better story.

There are a group of kids who have powers forced upon them. One touches upon the before while the other touches upon the after effect. Both have dark tones.

Both of these have a strong male protagonist where he protects the girls. Both are in a school type of setting were training happens. Where they differ is where they get their powers one gets it from coming back from a different world. The other is somewhat human genetics. Been looking for a so similar and found hundred to be an excellent match.

The obvious similarity - Both are harem show. Both involving magic usage. Both have the same setting and also involving academy life!! Both have lots of girl surrounding them!! Both are about a male (main character) who has the strongest magic/power in the series. Both protagonist also capable of using sword to defeat the enemy.

Both series have similarity on both main male characters, that is, they don't give up in facing situations, and like to motivate main heroine when their weak and if you notice these two characters also like to challenge people who have the above abilities.

the mc's are very simalar where there so op and slightly sadistic but truly care about those close to them. there both at a school for magic people, tho one is for demons and the other for people with magic powers Hagure Yuusha no Aesthetica (Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero) is a lot more ecchi than The Misfit of Demon King Academy. if you like the way op mc that act more like an anti-hero then you should like them both

In both series, the protagonist is manly in his own way. Both use a fighting technique that works by touching pressure points on the body of the opponent. This can make the enemy explode (Kenshirou) or make girls pee (Akatsuki). If you want to see 2 heros expressing their manliness and finger/pressure point fighting style in different ways, these titles can be recommended.

Both features a guy who is a typical chauvinist, a pervert and an apex bully, who is up against those high fluting Amazons who can kick ass outta ordinary bully, except that the guy is no ordinary bully, but a good chauvinistic guy who is capable to taming those ass kicking Amazons.

If u like badass overpowered MC then these two are for u. However OPM has superheroes with superpowers and focuses on comedy and parody. Whereas Hagure Yuusha has magical/ fantasy theme and focuses more on ecchi/harem/romance aspect. Also, both have over the top action

Guy with exceptional powers saves the world while living a day-to-day ecchi/harem life. The upbeat mood + jokes/gags are great and well incorporated into the overall story arc.

Both are ecchi harem anime that take place in a high school for the magic and supernatural and uses similar elements such as having an underage girl in the harem as well as a pink-haired main girl who clumsily reveals herself regularly.

Both series contain a male lead protagonist with immense powers, furthermore are not afraid to be bold and direct with their perverted actions with the many female characters that surround them.

Akatsuki and Reishin are both awesome and overpower . Reishin looks like Akatsuki in a way. Both series does deal with magic, battles, and school life. Though Reishin isn't a perverted person like Akatsuki yet many female characters are drawn to them. Akatsuki wants to fight the strongest opponent and test out his skills. While Reishin wants revenge from a certain incident and plans to kill/defeat him.

Similarities: Both have the same, magic, adventure, action, harem and ecchi genre. Both have have the same situation where there is boob mushing. Both have the same male character who were good fighters and often itching for some action. Both male character's have a female sidekick who is seemingly a bit weak on the fighting side. Dissimilarities: The male character in one anime is already a superb fighter, as compared to the other male character from another anime has to undergo addtional training. The female sidekick in one anime is capable of fending for herself, but is often a victim of the male character's perversion, while in the other anime the male  read more

Same situation where the guy has to protect the damsel in distress, the difference were one is into sci-fi and mech, while the other is more into magic and fantasy.

Both are about a main character who was summoned to another world and uses a sword as their weapon, the stories also have magic as the main choice of combat. The also both are ecchi anime with a lot of fanservice.

Both are about a main character who was summoned to another world with weapons being used for combat as well as magic as one of their main forms of combat. The also both are ecchi anime with girls being stripped almost every episode, but Dog Days is less graphic with the fanservice.

Both series contain action and a strange cast of characters. Both series contain fantasy themes. Both series' protagonists are independent and strange in a sense. Both series' main heroine also have a mysterious background surrounding them. Both series contain comedy and drama.

Both have the same school, magic, action, harem genre. Both involves a guy who is very powerful. Both have quite enough fanservice in it. Dissimilarities: Wizard has better graphics. Wizard's authors have wonderful imagination, so the plot of Wizard is much more exciting.

They both have a strong guy main character and romance. The girls are weak, but then try to protect the main character.

It's exactly like Hagure, but instead the main male character is, Let's say, more brains then broad. Also, all female main characters are inlove with the main male character which makes it all the more hilarious. YES there is a lot of fight scenes, Ecchi as well. There are a lot of porn references with the main character which made it even MORE funnier. Last thing, the females on here are badass, fighting is epic.

Both are action ecchi series with a perverted main character who have tons of girls around him. Otoshimono deals with angels while Hagure deals with heroes coming back from alternate worlds. Otoshimono's main character isn't a badass like Hagure's though.

Both Main characters are very skilled and naturally talented in their respected fields. Both series involve the main male character coming to the aid of a very high status and powerful female protagonist, not only does he protect her but over time starts to have feelings for her and vice versa. Both narrative's have amazing battle action scenes and great art work. These series also have Adventure, Ecchi, Fantasy, Romance, Harem genre components.
