The staff members of a certain hentai producing company get personally involved in their work. Perhaps a little too involved as some some male staffers begin to cross the line between fiction and reality.
Yume Kui is about a hentai producing company where their staff being raped by many people, like all hentai's this is 18+ and contains mature content.
Undoubtedly my favourite hentai of all time, I wouldn't say that I'm a fan of the rape genre, but if I had to say it, I would say this series is a hentai done right. Suzuki Mirano is infamous for making rape/ntr scenes that are fucked up in a sense where it sometimes hurts to watch, but this is not one of them.
Yume Kui uses great animation and sound to smooth out the rough edges, although some scenes could have been longer this is one of those I consider a "must watch"
The three most important aspects of a hentai in my opinion are:
2) Sound (voice actor + BGM)
The other aspects are of little importance to me, when you're watching a hentai you're seeking pleasure, and enjoyment, thus none of the other aspects come into play as much.
The animation is done perfectly, some scenes were questionable due to them reusing an older scene (there was a scene where the girl didn't have a bra on then few seconds later it's on again then it's off again a few seconds after). This is likely due to budget constraints causing them to reuse the scene, but none the less the animation is really crisp and enjoyable.
Accompanying this fluid animation is the great sound they used, both the voice actor and BGM were a great plus for me. Not sure if I can add more other than this but it was extremely enjoyable.
I thoroughly enjoyed this ;), I personally didn't mind the rape scenes too much although the second last scene on the last episode was pushing my buttons a bit, it's not too bad. All the other scenes made up for the last one for me.read more
For those familiar with Suzuki Mirano this is going to be the tame end of things, for other people, especially those who are just vanilla users the contents of Yume Kui are going to come as a shock.
The story's nothing special, although I've given it points for creativity in sex placements, like having the scenario writer type the script while taking it from behind, or having the seiyuu record particularly realistic moaning lines--because she's being fucked at that moment. However points off for not really clearing up how he ends up enslaving all of the heroines at the end, I guess it's just another one of the "women just want dicks" cop-out we're all too used to.
The animation is superb though, easily at the top of the pool. The fluidity of motions and diverse angles is nothing short of the quality you'd come to expect from Suzuki Mirano. The voice acting is also very well done and captures all the pain, plight, anguish and pleasure experienced by the heroines.
Characters and character development is where this series falls short though, since the MC is never established to be anything other than a scheming fiend, and the heroines aren't shown as anything more than just different holes to screw. This makes the ensuing sex scenes less impactful since the viewer simply has no chance to build up a connection between the characters, however this poses few problems as the scenes are plenty impactful by themselves and retain much of their shock factor even when the effect is dulled a bit.
Overall while it's no masterpiece, definitely give it a try if you're not overly squeamish (which makes me question why you're watching hentai in the first place), or want to experience a change from all the vanilla you've been watching up until now. read more
First, I'd like to say, that this is my first review, so bear with me.
Second, as I'm sure anyone who's been watching hentai for a while, and read a few reviews, would know. I've rated this as a hentai, on a separate scale, from regular anime. Otherwise you can bet, I'd have rated each section, atleast 2, points lower.
There's not really much story here at all. The MC, pretty much just rapes all the girls and uses them to promote game sales, and increase his status.
When it comes to art in either hentai, or regular anime it all comes down to personal opinions. In my own personal opinion the art in Yume Kui: Tsurumiku, is pretty good. But I've definitely seen better.
Honestly I didn't even notice the music. the voice acting was alright but nothing special.
The protagonist, is one of the less detestable rapists, I've seen in hentai.
The girls on the other hand were all pretty boring. I can't even remember any of their names.
I did enjoy Tsurumiku, despite all of its weak points.
Pretty average. If you like less hardcore, rape hentai, then you could probably enjoy this one. Nothing really disturbing. No NTR or anything like that.
