| Well, I guess Guilty Crown issues were more a matter of script than direction... When the source is bad there is a limit of what a director can do to make it better. As long as I know, Araki Tetsuro is a director that knows how to give feeling to his works. Death Note was intense (and its intensity is often target of love or hate) and GC and HOTD indeed had good and strong action sequences. This guy just need a good script to make a nice work - even if it won't turn into a masterpiece, it can be quite entertaining. |
