| That was not too bad, way more cliche than what I anticipated with it's tropes and conveniences, but enjoyable nevertheless. They did a lot in just ten measly episodes which I appreciate. Not sure how I feel about promoting the NEET life though, there was no "recovery" to speak of lol, I suppose if you can still somehow stay independent. 7/10 overall. |
| First time rewatching, and I freakin’ loved it this time around too! For some reason, I’d been having the urge to binge this show for a couple weeks now, and I’m glad I finally got around to doing it. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to watch about 4 hrs of anime episodes non-stop, so that’s cool too. Something about the relationship between the two is just so good. Obviously too cliche and convenient but despite that, so beautiful and engaging. I just couldn’t grinning when Sakurai-san grasped her hand and wouldn’t let go, ‘bout darn time! Ah, I really want a continuation of this series… |

| The characters were so likeable and the humor was on point too. The whole thing felt very wholesome and sweet without getting too heavy handed, and I'm so happy to see a more adult story get told in anime. |

| Very good anime, just like Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun. It's been a while since I last watched a romcom so this is fresh for me. The romance in this anime is very well presented, you just want to cheer to Sakurai to tell his feelings in front of Moriko. Sadly, this is also a romcom so we won't see an ending (that's how it is in the romcom genre). And the mangaka got sick and forced to stop this series so it's also a shame. I rate this 8/10. Pretty noticeable animation quality drops from time to time, but the overall story and the writing makes up for it. |
