Hahahaha I know what you mean. Oh I recently finished reading the manhua Here U Are. It's super sweet and the art is just so beautiful.

Omg I was literally planning to watch Monster cause the whole "moral dilemmas" theme is right up my alley. They all look really interesting which should keep me going for a while, thanks!

Hahahaha I watched those cringy ones ages ago and I've been updating them from my old account (believe it or not I actually joined MAL around the same time as you, what a coincidence)... I'm not particularly proud of them either so that's why I'm trying to branch out to niche or darker animes.

If you're looking for a romance, Ouran High School Host Club and Skip Beat are hilarious and pretty high-quality art despite being so old school, and the female leads are quite decent. Kimi ni Todoke and Kamisama Hajimemashita are particularly charming and heart-fluttering but in a natural way. Your Lie in April and Akagami no Shirayuki-hime are a bit more on the slow-paced and coming-of-age side.

In terms of Ghibli Studio, cause I saw that you like a few, Kiki's Delivery Service and From Up on Poppy Hill are a great watch. Personally, The Secret World of Arrietty is my second most favourite Ghibli just after Spirited Away for its poignant narrative and simplicity.

Your entire completed list is literally what I want to watch. Also, it's hard to find people who watch that many donghuas on MAL. I would really recommend Tian Guan Ci Fu (Heaven Official's Blessing) if you like Mo Dao Zu Shi that much. It has amazing arts and soundtracks, plus they're both based on novels of the same author.
