This show, was sadly disappointing. Although having a interesting premise, although generic, I was really interested in it from the little I known. Sadly, it didn't deliver on my expectations.
The story and characters are one of the worst aspects of the show. Which in my mind, are the most important part. The premise is underdeveloped, and underused. It really had something that could be expanded upon, and delved into.
There was so much stuff that could've been developed, but it wasn't. It comes off as shotty fanfiction, which isn't a good look.
Many aspects of the plot, are underdeveloped. For examples, the Demons, how
...
the Plague came to be, where the vampires came from, what the vampires are doing by experimenting on humans, why the plague only affects those who are over 13, why the plague hasn't infected adults in the real world, the weapons, the vampires themselves, the army, the monsters that roam the world, the rest of the world, and so on and so forth.
The second big problem is the main characters and other characters. But mainly the main character. Completely and utterly unlikeable. He's an arrogant, snot nosed brat, that only thinks about killing all the vampires, and how he needs no friends. Everything comes easy to him, and nothing seems to slow him down. He gets his cursed weapon easily, he gets into the special school easily, he beats the monsters easily, etc.
They didn't even show how he got so strong in the around 4 year time skip. They didn't show much of his life in the vampire city, which could've made me actually care about him and his lifelong buddy, or all of his siblings from the orphanage that all died soon into the episode.
He's underdeveloped, leaving him a shallow character, that's just unlikeable. I honestly would've liked if Yoichi had been the MC. The MC we got, was even rude to him. Yoichi, though a bit cliche and generic, would've been far less generic then the MC and would've been a much more likeably protag.
I'm gonna quickly compare the beginning of the this show to a show that it seems to take inspiration from. Attack on Titan.
Okay, in Attack on Titan. We quickly get the run done of what's happening, and what the siuation the characters are in. A quick explaining of the titans, and what humanity has been up to with the titans. But in Seraph of the End, we have no clue what's going on, and its only revealed later through direct character dialogue that's badly written.
We have Eren the main character and his relationships. We instantly know who he is. A bit of a wimp, who aspires to join the Survey Corps. He has an anger problem and gets into fights often. But deep down he cares, and is angered by how Humanity ignores the threat of the titans.
He loves his mother, and has a sisterly relationship with Mikasa, who protects him.
Then we have Hyakuya. We barely get to know who the hell he is and what drives him. It would've been great to see how severe seeing the people he loved and cared die impact him, but we get none of that. Just how he's so ANGRY and wants to kill all the vampires, something that's lazily ripped from Attack on Titan.
After he escapes, we get nothing to show his relationships, which he barely has, and then there's a 4 year time skip, one that followed the previous 4 year time skip. With Eren, you could relate to his hate and anger. He saw his mother get eaten in front of him, his life ruined, orphaned, and more. But with Hyakuya, he doesn't show why he's so angry aside from badly written dialogue.
Then we get to the main antagonists in AOT. The titans are clearly explained from the beginning. Strange, large, uncanny, man eating monsters that resemble humans that popped up hundreds of years ago. They drive Humanity to live in 3 tall walls that close them off from the word. They're tough to beat, scary as hell, can only be killed by slicing the nape of their neck, and eat humans. Plain and simple, spelled out easily for the audience to understand and get invested quickly.
For the vampires. We have no idea how they came to be, where they're from, how to kill them, what they're doing, why they hate humans and care so much for earth, even though they steal blood from humans, why do certain people's blood taste better for the vampires, etc. etc. Then there's also the fact, that somehow demons are thrown in, which are also underdeveloped and underexplained.
They just are in random weapons, which reminds me of Bleach a bit too much.
The Art and Animation, is good and pretty high quality, but the story ruins it for me.

One of the worst Anime I've ever seen.
It's basically a failed Your Lie in April. So basically, this boy, has Hepatitis A (Don't worry, it almost never is mentioned past Episode 3) and is stuck in a hospital. He meets a girl who has a condition where her heart doesn't work so good. From the start, I knew that she was going to die because it was so plainly obvious.

more and is a million times better then this even with only 2 hours. It would have really benefited from being longer. I mean, even if they had to throw in a full fillers, it would have made it better.
Anyway, the animation is low quality. The budget cuts and workarounds are so obvious to see. Like, sloppy faces, slow movement and action, the camera being zoomed in one image and then just moving, characters being frozen in time, lip flaps etc. The animation was clearly rushed and is so low budget that it's hard to watch.
The characters are also incredibly unlikeable. The doctor at the hospital, assaulted our main character while intoxicated basically kicking him while he was whimpering on the ground and our MC doesn't seem to want to mention it, nor does the guy get in trouble. He also actively tried to sabotage the relationship between our two mcs. He also cheated on his dying wife.
Our Mcs are also unlikable. Ezaki, keeps worsening his condition, even though it's doing nothing good for him, and Rika is a such a commanding brat. All she does is complain, and she almost never seems to be having fun around Ezaki. But Ezaki somehow fell in love with her in the third episode.
Like seriously, all Rika ever did was be a bratty little shit to Ezaki, always complaining, being commanding, bitching etc, but somehow, Ezaki fell in love with her. Like its almost just skimmed over and were just made to believe that they are in a serious romantic relationships. I think the writer forgot what fucking character development was.
We also never are told what Rika's disease is, so when the author can't even provide a name, you know they are a bad writer. The story reads like a bad mediocre fanfiction written by a 10 year old on an ipad. Shit goes from one thing to the next, skimming over stuff, leaving out sections, just forgetting plot points and backstories, just completely not giving a shit etc.
Ezaki's nurse also abuses Ezaki, hitting him on the head, making him pee in a bottle, locking him inside his hospital room, invading his privacy etc. She also "punished" one of her friends, where the lady said "My Body went flying". Seems like she has violent tendencies to say the least.
The old man was a perverted pedophile who gave a young underage boy various porn magazines and literally nobody seems to have a problem with it. The hospital is fucked.
Also I forgot to mention how Ezaki's Nurse's friend, literally tried to have sex with Ezaki, when he was 17 years old. They were literally in the bed and she was about to take off his pants. Like seriously, Ezaki just didn't give a shit, like he was just braindead.
Either, Ezaki had forgotten how to use his brain, or the writer didn't care about writing a good scene, so instead he decided not to have Ezaki react to anything happening, so he could just get his mandatory cleavage shot. The sex was only stopped by Ezakis Nurse ringing the doorbell. Then after she found it, she proceeds to strike Ezaki on the face mutiple times, even when he was her patient.
Like seriously, did she think Ezaki was the instigator of it? I would blame the fucking grown ass adult for trying to fuck a 17 year old, when she knows he can't fully make mature decisions.
Like, every single person in this anime is either abusive, bratty, stupid, or a pedophile. The hospital setting is completely unrealistic, the person who wrote this, doesn't know what the fuck a hospital is like.
Because the patients with deadly illnesses can just walk out whenever they want. Let's also not forgot the fact that the writers were trying to portray a "tragic" story. But the half assed humour that barely works, the incredibly unlikeable characters, and the odd shift of seriousness, and humourous don't make it tragic at all. Well its tragic for the inevitable firing of all the staff there, but not for the story.
Oh and to add onto the absolute disaster this anime was, the ending was so stupid, It made me burst out in laughter, and like Cry Laugh for almost 3 minutes. Like it was so fucking stupid, it was so trying so hard to be cool and serious but just failed spectacularly. You need to watch the end to believe me that it was so fucking funny and all for the wrong reasons.
The anime completely failed in making me care about the characters and actively made me dislike the characters. It didn't have enough time to build them up, nor were the people who made it, skilled enough to make an anime. It completely fails in every subject
Just don't watch this anime. Its pretty bad. With horrible animation, character building, characters, art, and story, its just a horrible watch all together.

This review is a review of this trilogy of sorts. So this covers the three Kizumonogatari movies that have come out.
Story: 7/10: The story is great, and it has the same Monogatari feel as usual. Its basically an origin story for Araragi and it delivers on that. I don't want to give away any plot details so I won't, because I think you should watch these movies for yourself. The pacing is actually very good, which surprised me because I expected something very sluggish after watching Bakemonogatari, but it surprised me by keeping me engaged for the whole time. and cuts that can be expected because its basically what makes this series unique. It only got in the way of my enjoyment a few times but overall pretty good story pacing. The story is filled with dialogue once again, which is no fault, just sorta a quirk of the series. It has some action scenes that can very violent thrown in. And when I say violent, I mean violent, like lots of decapitation, ripping off limbs, lots and LOTS of blood, and one scene of a vampire eating a person's corpse.
The action is very good, but can feel like its repeating with Araragi starting off cool, then freaking out and running away like a coward, then beating the opponent with anger or some sort of primal fury. The relationship between Hanekawa and Araragi is fantastic, I found myself loving the interactions between the two. But one problem, I have no idea how they weren't in love or had some sort of affectionate feelings for eachother. To be honest, at the end I was rooting for Hanekawa to end up with Araragi instead of Senjougahara but that didn't happen.
In terms of the story making sense, it has some problems, like the fact that Araragi went missing for like 2 months with the only person seeing him being Hanekawa. Just baffles me that his sisters or parents didn't call the cops or freak out after a week of him not being absent from their lives.
Art: 8/10: The art is somehow weirder than Bakemonogatari or the other monogataris. It has some weird Cgi and photo realistic backgrounds, environments and objects that stick out like a sore thumb which really disrupt your inmersion. I found myself often annoyed with how Araragi, a 2-d character was awkwardly put in a 3-d environment. Some random objects were real images that they put in and almost give it a stop motion feel which really tripped me out. Most of the time, the 2-d mixes very well with the 3-d, and it's one of the examples of good Cgi in Anime but there's always some things that just don't look right at all.
The characters designs are clever and subtle, for example I completely missed that when Araragi became a vampire, his little Alfalfa looking thing disappeared, but when he turns into Pseudo-human it appears again. For some reason, Hanekawa is oddly sexualized in the 3 movies, like lots and lots of jiggling boobs, panty shots, her giving her panties to Araragi, letting him "cop a feel". As he call its, which eventually didn't happen because he was too embarrassed. But it doesn't get in the way of most things. The way the characters move are all great, with faces that are very realistic (in terms of how it moves and works). I did notice that one shot was repeated many times, that being a close up of Araragi's pupil narrowing and then opening.
When characters are moving fast, the animation style changes into a more sketchy and rough design, but their moving so fast that you can barely see it. The fights are all well choreographed with characters moving very smoothly and fluently. One of the running cycles was very very janky but it was only shown for a total of 6 seconds so not that big of a deal.
Sound: 6/10: It's pretty average in terms of sound effects. Nothing really stands out as super amazing. Everything adds up and its fit. Its just it really isn't special. The music equally isn't really special, with the usual Monogatari soundtrack in place. I think the best part about it would be the voice acting. The voice actors did a superb job. They capture every kind of emotion and change in voice that the characters are going through. The voices also differentiate between each other which makes it very easy to know which character is speaking when we don't get to see their lips moving, unlike other series (looking at you One Piece).
Characters: 8/10: Like previously stated, the relationship between Hanekawa and Araragi is fantastic. Each character interaction between them feels genuine and real, which just ups the quality of the anime ten fold. This also brings me to the Character Interactions. They are great, and they stick to the characters very well. Its mostly made up of Character Interaction so it can be expected to be good. Each emotion feels real and realistically leads to something that would be expected. Very good in that department.
Enjoyment: 7.8/10

This is an Ecchi Yaoi, and solely a Ecchi Yaoi with some bits of romance thrown in. Anyway on to the review!
Story: 3/10: I didn't really like the story. Its basically every single, "shy boy gets dominated by lustful dominate male and they fall in love" Kind of Yaoi. Theirs no real twist like some other Yaoi Series do to make it more interesting, which makes it a big bore to read through the main bulk of the non "sex" Scenes. Just to say first, this is not a hentai, it has some very suggestive scenes and positions (i.e man grabbing dick through pants,
...
thrusting into each other, sloppy kissing, etc) but it doesn't really make up the bulk of the story. All the softcore sex scenes seem like little treats to keep you reading, because without them, the story would be uninteresting and boring as all hell.
The story starts off with our main character, a meek (when it comes to his past and sexual situations) man getting into a new job. His backstory is quickly explained, being that in highschool he was super short and chubby, but was also super smart, which made him a bullying target among the student council which he was also in. The highschool version of himself is SUPER cute! Its probably the best thing about this story. Continuing on, in this new job he finds out that his boss is the former president of the student council which shocks him, and the stupid shit comes in full force!
The president when he gets our main character in his personal room, advances onto him, without warning, and our main character tries to push him away. Its not shown as anything bad for some reason, even though its technically sexual assault and attempted rape which really makes me dislike this relationship. Anyway, after the dominate male makes our main character have to have sex with him because if not he will destroy the business that he is working in the relationship continues. I have no idea why we are supposed to like him. Anyway, it ends with them having sex.
The story is odd with flashbacks being thrown in at times when its only convenient and easy for the story. The sex scenes are probably the second best part which is sad, because its probably the only thing the author can write well. It's very erotic, but their's no real difference in between which makes it almost a bore to get through near the end too.
Art: 7/10: Probably one of the better parts of this. The characters, settings, objects, backrounds, etc are illustrated wonderfully. Get me, its not any Vagabond, Berserk, or One Punch Man but its still decent. The panel placements can be very mismanaged and odd. Its very hard to read at times which makes it bad, but mostly its very good.
Characters: 3/10: The characters are horrible. Our Dominate Male is very bad, like previously said is a sexual deviant who advances on our main character mutiple times without consent. He's a real asshole, and our main character is very stupid for not reporting him to the police, or getting the hell out of that job, and exposing him for he is. The president is very odd, because our Main Character remembers his character to be horrible, but the president of the Student Council defended him and openly expressed his attraction! The two other characters that are very stupid, are the two twins from the student council. They show up at his job at one point, and are mean as usual. But after a few chapters, their on his side! It makes no fucking sense!
Enjoyment: 5/10

I stumbled upon this randomly like browsing on this site, and I was thoroughly impressed, so here are my thoughts.
Story: 7/10: Its very odd in terms of story beats, premise and more. It follows around Ichabod, a boy of two mothers, who was made possible a random individuals sperm that the two woman got from a sperm bank. Unfortunately for the two woman, when he was birthed, he turned out to be a boy when the two now mother's were hoping for a girl. birthed him left, leaving the other woman to take care of him. Turns out though, that his father is a notorious criminal. The story starts when he tries to cut off his... uh, dick but luckily only cut off some of the foreskin. After this, he joins a group of criminals in search for his father who appears in his head at times.
Its quite unique which was surprising to me, seeing how it seemed like a normal shonen story of a boy who wants to see his dad. But it was unique in the way that random ideas were thrown in, like he doesn't have a dad, has a mental issue, etc. The way the story paces out is quite delectable and is actually very easy to get through which was also surprising.
Art 6/10: Now, I don't know if it was the website I got it off from, but their was some horrible tampering with it. It mostly ruined the art for me which was a downer for the whole manga, but I'll try to keep it focused on the artist's actual illustrations. Their quite average, being similar to probably hundreds of other manga out their, but serve for the story quite well. Some of the proportions (specifically, the feet) Can be really odd at times. But the angles, characters, and locations are all way drawn and portray the scenes well. If it wasn't for the poor quality version I had acquired then I probably would've given it a 7 or 7.5.
Characters 7/10: The characters stick to their personalites a lot, even a bit too much. Even when the mother sees her 12 year son, bleeding from his crouch, she acts very subdued and almost bored, with no real difference in her facial expressions. Even when a hostage siuation is going down, she's blank faced as usual. I would expect it from Ichabod, being raised in an odd living environment, and siuation, but from the mother makes no real sense. His "gang" has a weird cast of characters, and the character interactions don't really make up a lot of the short manga. Also some of the character's intentions and backstories can be awkwardly shown which might confuse some readers.
Enjoyment: 6.5/10: Not one of the best Manga I've ever read, and not one of the worst one's I watched. Its very odd which gives it the right for a mention. The odd pixelation I had experienced, along with the odd story beats and underused/poorly characters really dumbed it down, but some aspects really shone through.
Overall: 7.5/10

I was browsing on MAL I came upon this manga. It looked interesting, so i decided to read it. I had no idea what I was getting in to.
Story: 7/10: This story is different from most Comedy Manga that I have read. The premise being that a girl's father builds a fully centinent robot girl that serves as his daughter's friend. As the story progresses, it can seem to drag on, because every chapter its the same joke. Like the Robot girl gets into a embarrassing siuation or people freak out because they think the dad has a girl locked in his basement. Some of the situations can seem very inappropriate at times. In the context of the story, the two girls are in highschool, but their drawn as short chibi characters which make them look younger like Elementary School Kids. Overall, not very heavy on the story.
Art: 7/10: The art is very nice to look at it. The characters are all designed to where they can differentiated, except for the two main girls. I mixed them up a lot. The line work is the best part of the art from what I've noticed. The way the panels are positioned, along with the backgrounds included, can be very overwhelming in many cases, and make it hard to figure out what's happening in a scene. Overall, pretty good Character Design but is just too much for the eyes.
Characters: 7/10: All the characters have their own personalities which is great but can be expected with a manga having little central and main characters to follow. But thankfully the characters all stay within their own personalities instead of veering off character like some bad comedy manga do for a joke.
6/10: My enjoyment factor wasn't really great. Its has an interesting premise, but the jokes are overused, and the art can be very overwhelming, but not to say its bad. Its just been done hundreds of times before, so I can't recommend it to a lot of people.
Overall: 6.5/10: Overall, its already been done, and has been done many times before. Doesn't stand out, which is sad for this manga because its well drawn.

I was super lucky to be able to see this in theaters the day this came out!
Story: 6/10 The story is a continuation of the Demon Slayer Anime that ended last year in 2019, being an adaptation of the Mugen Train Arc. You may recognize the main villain or demon of this arc from the first season, well you did see him. He was the the demon who Muzan had given his blood to, the one who wanted to be tortured. It closely follows the Manga's events, showing off Rengoku using his Sun Breathing Techniques, and all the fights. It feels bloated with fights

and not much else, but that's mostly the manga's fault. The movie does play out the emotional scenes quite well. Kimetsu no Yaiba was never big on the story aspect so it will be expected for the movie and any adaptations if they want to stick to the source material.
Art: 10/10: Once again, Studio Ufotable has knocked it out of the park with the breathtaking animation they have. But this time around it's even better with a movie budget. Its so smooth and satisfying that it just draws you in like that. The breathing techniques were the highlight of the First Season, and its the same for here. I have no idea how Studio Ufotable does it. With Tanjirou's breathing, the almost 3d looking camera angles, the fast paced movements, Nezuko's Exploding blood, Zenitsu's lighting, Inouske in all of his glory, its absolutely fantastic.
Sound 7/10: Another amazingly great aspect. At times like that, I love being in a Japanese theater, because everybody is very silent, doesn't laugh at jokes or gasps, its a great expierence. The sound effects are pretty good, with the Voice acting being taken to the next level. But the real highlight in terms of the sound, is the amazing Musical Score. I said it once and I will say it again, Demon Slayer has one of the best orchestrated soundtracks in an Anime that I have ever seen. The low and melancholy piano keys, the tense and sharp violin, the soft and relaxing flute, the haunting chorus, it all comes together to make a amazing score.
Characters: 6/10: Nothing really changed from the first season, with most characters sticking with their personalities. But at times it just feels like the second season of the anime and not a feature length film. I mean, its an exact adaptation so you expect it to be similar to the manga but its very similar to the source material and the previous Season. The constant yelling between the trio is very annoying, like the first season. Even when writing this review, I feel like I'm just reviewing the anime. The only thing that changed was the art but everything stays the same in terms of my thoughts on the anime.
Enjoyment: 8/10: I enjoyed the Demon Slayer Anime, but this, raised the bar even higher, I highly highly highly suggest watching this when it comes out on streaming services. Demon Slayer is shaping up to be another gigantic manga and anime series even if it might not deserve it fully. But if your a big fan of Shonen Jump or the second season, OR even the manga I would suggest watching it. But its not perfect, I think too many people have hyped up Demon Slayer, which can be bad when the ending eventually gets animated, because it will all come crashing down. But still good for the time being.

Don't let the summary fool you, its not going to be Ecchi, or erotic anime. I was browsing for some wholesome or heartwarming anime when I found this, and it was completely different from what I thought it was.
Story: 7/10: The story follows a single father, taking care of his daughter, while also trying to hide the fact that he draws and writes manga for a living because he had wrote an Ecchi Manga before his daughter was born. The danger is really overplayed which makes it humorous. Its probably not going to get a laugh out of you most of the time, but

at times it can get a chuckle. Each episode has a set of situations where the father is desperately trying not to be seen by his daughter, putting him into wacky, awkward, and all around goofy problems. The pacing doesn't follow a set plan most of the time, but that doesn't get in the way of the episodes or your enjoyment.
Art: 6/10: Its not really prominent in the art department. Its not anything you'd see in a Studio Ghibili film or an animation from Wit or Ufotable. Its pretty simple in its design, with characters faces not being over detailed, and having little features on their face. But that's not to say its bad. Its not a high budget anime, neither was it very popular, so their was no need for amazing animation, its just standard.
Sound: 7/10: I don't really have anything to say, its pretty run of the mill, no great scores, or amazing voice acting, just pretty good and standard for the anime.
Characters: 7/10The characters are what keeps the show running, the situations the father gets into, are what gets the show running, but the characters are what keeps it running. They each have their own role, usually playing the same part in every episode. So theirs not a lot of variety in what the characters do, but still, pretty good.
Enjoyment: 7/10: Its a very standard, mainstream comedy anime that we probably have too much of. Its very run of the mill and the idea has already been many times before. It doesn't really stand out, but its not bad by any means.

Chainsaw Man is a Seinen anime that is not what it seems. This manga, the first time you see it, it looks like a Newgrounds animation, but the it has many redeeming qualities, and makes all of the characters likeable.

Chainsaw devil, a devil that has a human form, but has chainsaws coming out of its arms, head and feet at times. The story seems cliche, but the more it goes on, the better it gets. Seriously that's his goal, but when he finally "Cops a feel" He feels empty as if his life has no purpose, he has a home, he touched a breast, but then, his goals become bigger, he strives to get a kiss from Makima, and the end goal is to marry Makima. O
Art: 7/10 As said before, the Art is rough. It can feel awkward at times, with character's stances and proportions feeling odd and too tense. Some of the characters can look almost odd, like a Gi Joe figure who's legs and arms can only go forward and back. But in lots of the panels, much of the art can be breathtaking, like Denji in his Devil Form jumping into a crowd of zombies, blood splewing everywhere, his chainsaws ripping through the zombies flesh. Or some of the calmer moments, when Denji starts to fall in love with another girl, kissing that said girl. All the devil's designs are extremely unique and original, along with being extremely detailed. At times, it even reminded of some of Junji Ito's Illutstrations
Characters: 8/10: Almost every character is fleshed out, has their own problems, aspirations, goals, and personality. Denji as said before, is a perfect example. At the start, all he wants is to eat good food and sleep in a comfy bed, when he joins the Devil Hunter Organization, he gets that, and feels like he doesn't need to do anything anymore. But then, he forms a goal, to as said before "Cop a Feel" Or touch a boob, when he does that, he feels empty, but then, he makes a bigger goal to get Makima's love. When a new love interest arrives, Denji is second guessing his love for Makima, he now loves this girl, (Who eventually turns out to be a villian, but nevermind that) All the character's feel real, and like their actually going through these events, not just Gary Stu's or Mary Sue's. Denji can be a jerk at sometimes, not caring about when somebody close to him lost a loved one. Denji is his own character, not a courageous hero. At one time, he even offered to run away with that girl who he loved.
Enjoyment: 8/10: Chainsaw Man stands out between the other manga currently going, it could be the future of popular manga, none the less, I loved it
Overall: 8/10: Chainsaw man is truly unique and great, if your looking for a real hardcore manga, with interesting characters, a good story, and and interesting premise, check out Chainsaw Man.

I swear to god this a comedy
If your expecting anything like the 2018 Baki Netflix Anime, then your going to be disappointed. Its majorly different, down to how Baki looks, the story and much more. The 2018 Baki Anime, was set halfway through the story, during the deadliest Criminals arc thing, where shit gets crazy, but these 24 episodes are subdued, even though their still crazy. Bakis more like a Shounen Protagonist here, he strives to become the strongest man in the world, to surpass his father Yujiro Hanma. Story: 8/10 Like said before, its much more different from the 2018 Baki Anime. Starts off the story from the beginning, when Baki was not as buff, and not as strong. The story is actually well paced, and easy to watch, and really easy to binge, which I'm always happy for. It doesn't have as much as the craziness that happens later in the manga, but still, some absurd things happen, such as Baki fighting 100 highschool delinquents, and fighting a giant ape.
Art: 7/10 The animation and art is much different from the Manga and 2018 Baki Anime (expect more referencing of the 2018 anime, because its almost impossible not too) Instead of actually taking the Author's style of illustrations, they take a much more normal looking Anime and manga style, which almost never gets in the way of the action. The action is also great, when Baki fights, it feels like he is, in the beginning, when he's fighting 100 people, the fighting is so smooth and well paced, it makes you just feel oddly satisfied.
Sound: 6/10 Now the low rating is not bad, it can be good, but the way the characters talk is hilarious, especially in the dub. Often times, I found myself not seeing any subtitles below when somebody is talking in the sub, sorrowing my expierence. The dub is not any better, the character's talk like they playing the character, not that they are the character. Many of the lines can be awkward, and down right funny, when Baki uses Endorphins, its down right hilarious how he goes OOOOOOH, and his brain lits up with stars shooting out of it. The opening is really catchy, and always fun to watch, so I advise not to skip it. The music is also good, with much of it being similar to Synth Wave.
Characters: 9/10. The characters are always the good part of these kinds of bizzare and wacky shows. Much like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, you watch and read it for the characters, not much the plot. Hanma Baki is the best out of the characters, the only motivation he has is to surpass his father in strength, who is said to be the strongest man in the world. And it feels genuine, it feels like your seeing a boy who strives and trained all of his life to surpass his father, it weirdly works. The side characters are also wacky, just for the fun of it, his mother is oddly sexual, straight up kissing Baki on the lips once, and only giving him tips to make him stronger, but she does risk her life in order to save him. I felt impressed, when I saw that Baki and his mother have a strong resemblance, not just the same hair color or eye color, like other manga and shounen series, like Naruto, Bleach, Black Clover, BNHA Etc. He has the same lips and mole as his mother, which makes it feel like Baki is her son.
Enjoyment 9/10: I think I enjoyed this way too much, and way more then the 2018 anime. Its fun, its wacky, and makes me feel like I'm watching Jojo's Bizarre adventure, but its a martial arts anime.
Overalls: A great Anime and Manga series, I highly recommend it to Anime fans, Manga Fans, and even Martial Arts fans.
