Always open for friend requests!I try to write non-spoiler notes, tags, and also give ratings to what I watch. All I watch is legit, so no multitasking, fast-forwarding, or skipping any parts/episodes while watching.
My History
My History
Technically I've been watching anime since the '90s, but in 2019 I started watching
anime actively, before that only rarely. I watch almost all genres of anime, and you
can see that from my anime list. I value one thing, and one thing only in anime,
ENJOYMENT! Art style, animation, music, story, writing, voice acting, everything
else comes far in the second place. When an anime rouses an emotion in me,
(everything else but disgust or hate) that usually means the anime is great, and
that's what I seek in anime. Works that wake up emotions in me.
I have CFS (Chronic-fatigue syndrome), ADHD, and many other diseases. That's
why I have so much time to watch anime, and that's one of the rare "hobbies" that
I can do that are not taxing on my health. I would really like to do more anime
reviews and recommendations, but they take a lot of energy to do for me.
I rate Anime based mostly on enjoyment, everything else comes far in the second
place. Everything rated is purely from watching the Anime and from Anime watchers
viewpoint and not comparing it to the source material, as I do not read manga or
light novels almost at all.
-10-8 These are awesome and I loved them! They made me emotional in someway
or another. I would recommend these to anyone, even if you're not a fan of the
genre.
-7-5 Good Animes that I liked, but weren't that memorable or made me feel much
of anything. I would recommend these to those who are a fan of the genre, the
source material, or are looking to experiment with unfamiliar genres and series.
-4-3 Bad, I didn't like these at all in one way or another, and weren't even so bad
that it would be memorable because of that. You could maybe watch and enjoy if
you're a fan of the genre or the source material, but others stay away from these
as it is just a waste of time.
-2-1 Horrible, these Animes made me frown in disgust, and every second spent
watching was just like torture. Recommended for those who are masochists, or
looking to watch something so bad they'll be scarred for life.
About Anime Lists Notes & Tags
I have written notes on every single entry on my Anime list, more or less. Usually
they consist of, a short synopsis in my own words, how I felt about the anime, and
some other random notes, such as what happened in some episode, or just
something I wanted to put up as a note to myself. I would be happy if you read
them.
Anyone looking through my Anime list might be confused by a some of the tags,
I have a notepad full of all the tags I use and I can send it to you if you want.
I'll explain some of the tags below in an alphabetical order.
Adult-as-child = Adult, or almost an adult, trapped or presented in a child's
or a child like body.
Boobalicious = Contains a lot of nude, or barely nude tits, or boobs are
one of the main focuses of the show.
Brutal = When there is a lot of blood, gore and/or dismemberment, but the
show doesn't necessarily have dark features or there is only little of it.
Call the loli police = Children under 13 are sexualized, or the child is the
object of romance for an adult character.
Casual fun = A relaxed and fun series, that is suitable for all ages and all
fans of Anime
Classic = Timeless and still very popular after decades among the viewers
and highly rated.
Crude art/animation = Rough and/or simple drawing style, usually
accompanied by poor or nonexistent animation.
Dark = e.g. gloomy, depressing, distressing, uncomfortable, disturbing.
Includes sexual/physical violence, drug use, addiction, violent and/or
abusive relationships.
Disappointed = The series was praised/high expectations/good reviews
and/or a good previous part and I had high expectations, but it was a big
disappointment.
Dropped = At some time I dropped this show and probably deleted the
entry also. Afterward, I started giving my dropped shows a new chance and
watched them until completion, and only dropping it again if it is completely
unwatchable for me, even after watching lots of episodes.
Misleading = Is completely or mostly different from the impression you
get from reading/looking at the title, cover and/or synopsis.
OP protagonist = Protagonist is unusually powerful physically/magically
compared to everyone else, friend or foe. Dispatches most of the
adversaries in a single strike or spell.
Over the top = Story is usually basic/nonexistent, and instead it focuses
on crazy action scenes, ton of explosions and ludicrous characters.
Rewatched = I have watched this series multiple times from start to end.
If I have watched it again, more than one time, the number of rewatches
is mentioned in the notes.
Scored later = This is the most used one, it's meant for entries that are
not in my recent memory and I had to remember it from the back of my
head when editing the list, so the tags and score are not entirely accurate,
It would need a rewatch or a recap, honestly.
Short comedy/Short = Short Anime or comedies that are under 10
minutes in episode length.
Slow = Story progresses very slowly or comes to a stand still for long times
before something starts to happen.
Style over substance = Mostly consists of flashy action scenes, beautiful
art style and/or animation, but there is little focus on story and actually
making a good and interesting show.
Suomi mainittu = (Finland mentioned) Finland is visited, mentioned by a
character/narrator, or a character is from Finland, or has roots in there.
Seeing the flag or the country on a map isn't enough.
Tiresome = This means that the Anime was really a struggle to get through
to the end, it doesn't mean the Anime was completely bad, but something
made it so that it didn't click with me, or was somehow really boring to
watch for me.
Unlikable protagonist = The protagonist of the show was not likeable at
all for me, usually I hated him/her so much I wanted to punch him/her in
the face.
ai oot yks noista, nostalgia driven :D ite en pystyis sanomaan samaa ku katoin silloin joskus semmosia animeja joista tän ikäsenä tykkää yhtään! (paitsi shugo chara, se aloitti tän koko anime harrastuksen)
Moi! selailin MAL-Badges niin löysin sun profiilin :p Kiitos kaveripyynnön hyväksymisestä hihii! Tykkään katsoa animea niin paljon ku pystyy vapaa-ajalla, mutta tällä hetkellä käyn työharjoittelua ja opiskelen nii ei kerkee kahtoo nii paljon ku haluaisin :// Näköjään katot kaikkien puolesta :D
Oh, you've already watched a lot!
What I do is mostly based on Anilist (where I add anime primarily, I just import them into MAL) and there is a website that uses my list to check the missing things related to what I have watched.
I've been going on each of my franchises to finish the things I missed and also have been trying to finish everything I've ever started (most of those I didn't register on MAL, since they are things I only watched 1 or 2 episodes and I end up rewatching them).
I like having milestones and goals, but I would never rush something only to get those numbers higher.
Yeah, I agree.
Anyone can do what they enjoy the most, but that won't work for everyone.
I myself, want to finish everything related to watch I watched, but I want to enjoy all of it, because I believe that even the bad anime can teach us something in the journey, and therefore, they are worth it.
You're welcome! I was also seaching for them a lot.
And it is always nice to see that someone else who watches things without skiping anything and that everything is legit.
Hi! I infact did not know that, and I'm questioning all the random anime I've put on that list now (! Thank you for the suggestion! I will put it on the list! I just looked at it and whilst I vagule heard about bubblegum crisis I have never heard about this show so I appreciate the info:)) And if you ever happen to stumble on anymore buddy cop I'll be happy to add it! Thanks again!
