I liked this two-parter. It's nice to have this sort of character development. The whole moon symbolism was neat, with the guy's poem at the end kind of tying everything together.
I felt really bad for the poor piano teache.r ;_; Poor guy has been searching for Yin all this time, and in the end he gets the memory of finding her erased.

Detective duo was good for laughs. I liked them better this time around than in the first 2-parter they were in.

What do you mean by normal? Yin is not Kirsi, she is a clone of Kirsi who just happened to possess Kirsi's memories. Exactly how Yin was created I don't know, but season 2 hints that some contractors possess abilities to clone people. It also seems that dolls can be manufactored, as hinted in later episodes.

I never understood that. What dolls were I mean. If they were made or they were people who developed into Dolls like Contractors were people who got powers. One thing I learned was that Yin/Kirsi is from Finland from the production notes on the DVD. I thought the RUssian agents were interesting.

I never understood that. What dolls were I mean. If they were made or they were people who developed into Dolls like Contractors were people who got powers. One thing I learned was that Yin/Kirsi is from Finland from the production notes on the DVD. I thought the RUssian agents were interesting.

It is mentioned several times that contractors are humans who failed to become dolls. This seems to suggest that it is part evolutionary. However, the introductory episodes also tells us that dolls can be created to look like other humans and then inserted their memories using the ME tool. It also seems to be that some dolls do not possess ghosts (like in the introductory episodes), and it could be that this is the major difference between manufactored dolls and humans who evolved into dolls. However, if this was the case with Kirsi/Yin, then Yin would also recognize herself as Kirsi which she doesn't, as shown at the end of this episode when Yin choses to be with Hei. This seems to suggest that Yin is a seperate entity of Kirsi who was simply mistaken for being her.
She chose to stay with Hei hence chosing to be Yin. It had nothing to do with being a clone. That said, for all intents and purposes Yin is a Doll born after the gate affected the world and quite likely kidnapped by the Syndicate and reset into the Yin personality. The fact they wanted to reset her means they were afraid she regained the memories of her past, as she did. I mean, if she was artificially created, why the hell would they insert some random girl's memories on her.

I am still wondering who is that green-haired-girl. Maybe she was in this episode for only few seconds but i'm thinking what will be her role.

Yin is so cute when she's trying to smile. She is also so innocent.

And wow, Hei <3

I LOVE YIN!! She's so adorable and pretty.

Looks like she does have a heart afterall. It's so sad she lost both her parents too. I'm glad she chose to stay with Hei.

Huang actually took the blame for not shooting Yin which was a nice thing to do considering he looks down on contractors and dolls as if they were mere killing machines/dolls

when she cried..i wanted to cry too. it was so beautiful I might just have to screen capture that and put it as my avatar

Kind of another bore. This whole episode is about Yin/Kirsi's past, but the climax is her choosing to stay with Hei...but why? It was because he assented that they were partners, but that was a reciprocation of exiting affection. Why does she like him to begin with? Just seems like yet another case of a female character being attached to that asshole for no reason.

Also, wasn't it supposed to be central to this setting that Contractors are sociopathic (with the apparent, as yet unexplained exception of Hei)? Yet the two Contractors in this episode (and the one in the previous story as well) seemed to have plenty of feelings, albeit hidden behind a hard-boiled social facade. What gives?

A little bit strange arc for me, it was neither too bitter or too sweet, and in the end I'm not even sure what happened with Yin. Neither I didn't understand what was Hei going to do if he had to kill Yin by himself. He's still shrouded in mystery even though we're at 14th episode now. But I guess this show is about to get really interesting(some plot maybe?) any moment soon.

Yup that was adorable :) I like it how Hei let's her decide, and she was surprised that she could be the one to decide. I wonder why she wanted to stay, because of Hei maybe? Because they are friends? And yeah after this episode, I dislike Huang less. I'm glad he made the decision not to dispose of Yin.

I love Yin's cute attempt at smiling. :)

This was a great arc. It was nice that Huang understood that contractors/dolls have emotions after all.
