| I'm liking Sinbad more and more, he is a morally grey character and I like that.. The beginning part wasn't too spoilerish, I'm anime only viewer and I didn't mind it at all, infact it got me hyped for whats coming in this season :P btw, Aladdin was funny as hell in this episode XD |

| Epic start indeed! it did exactly what it was intended to do which is draw me in, only downside is that yes its a major spoiler and it does diminish the effects of excitement that we were suppose to have later on during this battle. I was rather taken aback in a good way but at the same time I despise spoilers, and hate those who love to spoil it for everyone else so while this scene was phenomenal within itself, I wish I had not seen it until it was actually time to be shown, then I could have embraced this scene after witnessing their journey towards that point. Another thing, I spoiled myself actually, its laughable and funny but I watched this episode first out of every Magi episode even before watching the first season. (that I just recently watched and spoiled myself anyway, knowing what characters were still alive)...so I was watching this episode feeling as if I'm missing something while watching it, then I thought wait there must be a first season, and wala! there it was a first season that I had not seen and I had to facepalm myself because I just totally ruined it. but I enjoyed the first season anyway and it certainly gave off a different feel when I rewatched this episode knowing the characters and their perspective backgrounds. |

| Going on an adventure by himself? . . . I kind of dislike when characters split up since then the story for any one character moves at a third of the pace, right when you get interested in one character's story it switches to what is going on with another character . . . Anyways, good first episode, I guess. I hope it doesn't go down the same wobbly path full of awkward pacing that the first season did. I guess either way I plan on reading the manga after this so guess it doesn't matter too much. |

| Pretty good first episode, the animation seems to have improved. Morigana being kinda jealous was awesome, she's still the best ! |
| Nice episode to start the second season. It was the calm before the storm, as it seems the gang will split after the next episode. The beginning was epic as fuck. Kougyoku is just the cutest :3 Too bad Sinbad is more interesting in using her for his agenda :( That conversation between him and Jafar has many shady implications. Wonder if Sinbad will become an antagonist in the future, also knowing he is half corrupted. Aladdin moments with princess Dunya are hillarious. The boy will be an alpha male if he grown up to adulthood. Even Sinbad cannot surpass him, lol. And speaking about Dunya... I have the feeling she will die, unfortunately :( Let's see how this will move. |

| Off to an interesting start! Hopefully this keeps going on until the end of this season! That part in the beginning…I don’t know what’s the situation (war?) but dayum Aladdin is badass!!! XD Oh so now the darker side of Sinbad is shown. Seeing him is like seeing the future of these usual adventurers who have gained so much along the years. That’s interesting in itself. Aladdin seem to be somewhat aware that Sinbad is trying to in a way, use him? Aladdin the eroi boy is back in action OTL Cant wait to see what’s in store next! |

| Wow, we get to see 'Rome' now, I hope we don't see too much as the portrayal of Rome and China in western media and anime is imo covered endlessly. It is far more interesting to see the Persian/Arabic/Indian/Thai/Mediterranean sea faring cultures. |

| basically it's a direct sequel, but.. first thing they fixed the pace, i'm liking it so far. setting that future event at the start of the episode kinda sets my emotions and expectations for this season, and from what it's seems, it's really promising. to my taste at least. can't wait to see aladding that powerful. lol for aladdin messing with that princess. i like how sinbad is not just 2-dimension character now like in 1st season. i like him more in this way. didn't get to see much of morgiana and alibaba in this episode, but for what it seems, morgiana really likes alibaba lol. the OP was, err, dunno. the ED was very god though. |
