It could only go up to book 26 as they only use what is in actual print as source material so no it wont cover the whole fight
It is most likely gonna end with saitama vs orochi

Don’t know about different director.

Both seasons are done by different studios.
Season 1 is done by Madhouse. Madhouse tends to adapt a big title, but does not do sequels unless it is Hajime No Ippo~
Season 2 is done by JC Staff. JC Staff is better in romcoms, it is a misfit for them to adapt Super Power anime. They mishandled other Super Power such as Toaru Majutsu No Index~

Oh i see, understandable i guess. But whoever's in charge should have known that and gotten a better studio for season 2 to capitalize on season 1's success.
