I’ve only watched the first 2 eps but it doesn’t seem that bad and I am confused as to why it has such a low rating. Does it just get worse?

all this show does is look cool. It’s good, but not on the level of the main fate series

The action is decent and Nero is likeable but the story is bad/confusing/non-existent, at least if you're not familiar with the video game.

The animation is good and Nero is a great character but other than that I didn't like it. It was very boring tbh and the story was also not good imo

It doesn't so much "get worse" as "is plain awful all the way through." The story is a nonsensical, extended-alternate-ending to an already mediocre game, it's done by Shaft, and Nero is annoying, so as you can see it hasn't got much of anything going for it.

Quite literally the only praise I can give is that the designs of

are fairly interesting.

Well I for one already loved Lain.

I personally enjoyed everything. But i look a lot at the artistic value of it. It's a beautiful anime. Well animated. The story is ok i guess, but i doesn't hold up to zero or stay night.

It wasn't bad at all. I finished the 10 episodes but I'm still questioning why is the rating like this!!? Its not great either, but at least a 7/10 should be fair rating.
Don't know if those who played the game had something against it, because of adaptation or something maybe (I dont know how good it is as adaptation since I'm anime only), I understand if that's the case but still I see the rating is unfair like this.
Animation and OSTs are very good, characters are likable and nice development, and dialogue is also good. Plot is little confusing at beginning, and tbh I didn't like the idea that much at first, but then as we progress its all good, and most important its fun and never get bored.

Loved the whole anime especially the animation and art style. The amazing visuals is stunning. Not bad, the story is confusing but if you already watched Fate it is easy to understand.
