Owari no Seraph

Generally speaking, Seraph of the End and Attack on Titan share a nice amount of similarities. Let's start off by our hot-blooded teenager main male character who has a clear objective: Kill all the titans (Shingeki no Kyojin) Kill all the vampires (Owari no Seraph). These creatures have taken away from our protagonist, dear family and friends in very painful ways. Later on they join the 'force' which will help them in order to get revenge against vampires/titans. Impulsive, stubborn and reckless main characters with a bunch of friends behind trying to stop them from doing stupid things, as expected, hardly ever works. Despite SnK being a little bit more bloody and heartbreaking than Seraph, if you have seen one of these series, you will see the reflection of the other even in the dialogues. Action, plot twists, apocalyptic setting and humanity survival, strong friendship bonds and bloody battles are part of these two intense pieces of work. read more 

Okay, the main reason I'm recommending this is because the first ep of OnS reminded me so much of AoT. In both series, the main characters' worlds are turned upside-down by incredible creatures. OnS deals with an apocalyptic vampire attack, while AoT deals with an already apocalyptic world's fragile peace being destroyed. I both series the main characters have lost their families to these creatures, and have a strong desire for revenge. After the first couple of episodes, there is a time skip, and the mains have undergone tough training to be able to fight their opponents.  

They're basically the same thing with different enemies. Post apocalyptic setting with humanity inside a wall to keep the bad guys out. The main characters are the squad of badasses that venture outside the walls and kill the bad guys. The main characters are basically the same dumb-as-rocks, brown-haired, green-eyed, slightly-shorter-than-average, sixteen-year-old boy, hellbent on revenge against the bad guys, though Eren is slightly dumber. There's also the mentor character who is way more badass than the main crew (Levi/Guren), the tall, short-haired rival of the main character (Jean/Shihou), the sweet, adorable, best friend of the main character (Armin/Mikaela and later Yoichi), the girl that follows the main character around and happens to be a total badass (Mikasa/Shinoa).  read more 

They both share the same characters; you can literally match the characters from both sides. The plot is also the same; humanity is on a brink of extinction because of a source they know very little about and now humanity is fighting back. If you liked Owari no Seraph you will love Shingeki no Kyojin! 

Both feature main characters who are dead set on annihilating the monsters that roam their respective worlds. The anime also share the same animation studio and a pretty unique art style for both. Also, both main characters have something special about them that sets them apart from everyone else.  

-Male lead character -Story revolves around revenge for the monsters that killed his family -Same studio -Humanity is on the brink of extinction because of said monsters -Strongly puts across that no-one is safe -Groups that fight against the monsters Though I'm not reminded of Shingeki no Kyojin while watching Owari no Seraph, I can see the similarities, and I do think that if you liked one, you will like the other.  

Music is really, really similar. The animation and drawing are super similar too. (Really thick lines) The main character wants to kill all Titans/vampires and wants revenge for his dead mom/family The protagonist has green eyes and is an angry teenager. The protagonist has 2 friends which are a badass girl and a weak-looking boy. Humanity was almost completely annihilated but there are a few people left. The bad ones eat people. The main character uses sword/s The main character has to leave his mom/family behind to survive and sees the moment they die.  

Shingeki no Kyojin is actually better than Owari no Seraph but they are still pretty similiar in everything except the animation. In both animes, humanity is nearly extintion. In both anime, the main protagonist looks for revange. The soundtrack used so far was similiar to Shingeki no Kyojin. With only 2 episodes i can´t tell much about it but so far it seems that is going to be similar.  

A stabarn hero and his family killed infornt of him and he decided to kill all the race that kill his family but war absulotly alike. And In both anime its a stragule to live a singe day so the enviorment is also same 

-Vampires=Titans -Yuuichiro Amane, the main character= Eren -Shinoa Hiiragi, The girl with the purple hair= Mikasa -Yuuichiro's friend= Armin -The army= The survey corps (the main character wants to join them) -That guy who killed that vampire= Levi -Yuuichiro Amane said to the vampire "it's been 4 years"= Eren said to the colossal titan "it's been 5 years" 

-They were both animated by WIT Studios -The MCs are both teens who, after seing their family getting killed, join the army to fight a supernatural threat (Vampires and monters in Sereph and Titans for Shingeki) -They are both set in worlds were humanity has a natural predators and lives hidden -The plot is similar as well as some characters -In both series there are characters who have untapped potencial 

Titans/Vampires are my trigger!! That's basically what the main characters say. Both of these shows deal with humanity on the brink of survival in a world where non human beings are trying to kill them. The main characters are all gung ho about killing the other beings, have a special ability that no one else has, are hunted down by multiple people, and have a friend named Mika/Mikasa. Attack on Titan is definitely the better of the two, but Seraph of the End is a good watch if you enjoyed Attack on Titan. 

Both anime are set in a theme of monsters and destruction. In both anime, the protagonists have a feeling of revenge (due to death of their loved ones) to take down these monsters, but both of them were a turned into something non-human. Also, in both anime, the human civilization has been pushed to its brink and is now living within a confined environment due to thee monsters. Both anime also have a Army-based theme about them. 

Another story about humanity's survival but are not titans are vampires.  

Almost identical plots. MC's family is killed by superior beings, MC grows up plotting revenge for the ones who killed his family, MC joins a group that fights back against superior, MC kicks ass and takes names. The MC even look exactly the same  

Both anime are similar in the way that is apocalyptic, with Shingeki no Kyojin being humans against titans and with Owari no Seraph being humans against vampires. The main characters of both, Eren (SNK) and Yuuichiro (OnS) are both teenagers seeking revenge for a close family member being killed/attacked by either a vampire or a titan (Eren's mother or Yuuichiro's foster family). Both have the strong female lead, Mikasa and Shinoa, dominating the main boy yet protecting them. Both Armin (SNK) and Yoichi (OnS) are characters that are emotionally/physically weak at first but soon grow and become strong and determined. Jean (SNK) and Kimizuki (OnS) are both strong characters that at first both have spats with the protagonist in the beginning of the series, and some of these fights are used comedically, but stand together when fighting. Both of these anime are strictly action and have barely any fan service or romantic themes in them. These are my own opinions and others may think that these characters don't resemble each other, which isn't really the point, but these are both great series worth looking into. I thoroughly enjoyed both, but not everyone would be very into this. Someone who likes SNK may like OnS and someone who likes OnS may like SNK. Both of them is similar because: -They both is set in a world where humanity population has been crippled and fights for survival, defending themselves against vampires (Owari no Seraph)/ titans (Shingeki no Kyojin) -Both main characters tries to take revenge, and kill all vampires/titans -Both main characters has a similar personality. If you enjoyed Shingeki no Kyojin, I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy Owari no Seraph.  

-Both main characters are male -Both main characters get their family killed -Titans = Vampires -Both are about the survival of humanity -In both series humans are viewed as livestock -In both the protagonist joins an army place to fight against the monsters -Both protagonists grow a hate for the creatures -Both protagonists seek revenge  

-Both are dystopian societies that are fighting their predators. -Both have military groups that protect the society. -The main characters both had someone important taken away from them; they want revenge. They both seek the annihilation of their predators. -Although they don't have the same art style and colour scheme, Owari no Seraph reminded me of Attack on Titan. They have more similarities than you think. Both are great animes to watch if you're a fan of dystopian worlds. 

Both straight forward MC's who only cares about revenge. It's all about avenging family! Shingeki no Kyojin - Eren Yeager whom live a normal life years before the Colossal titan attacked Wall Maria. Afterwards, There was one unexpected day where the Colossal titan appeared and shocked every people's expectation. Eren and his friends were taking a walk inside the wall minutes before the titan attacked. Then after the titan appeared Eren ran and tried to go to his house and sadly saw his mother wounded and trapped in a pile of blocks. Unfortunately, his mother died and then Eren became so obsessed of avenging his mother and promised to protect his family "Mikasa" and also he will kill all the titans. Owari no Seraph - Yuichiro Hyakuya is an orphan who was sent in an orphanage with kids. He lived there a great life then after a Virus named "Seraph of The End" appeared in all cities of Japan. But then, This Vampire creatures appeared and abducted humans kids who can't be infected with the Virus. Yuichiro Hyakuya hates his everyday life in the vampires place. And even says that vampire sucks caring a livestocks of human. One day, He planned to escape in the Vampire's place together with his 2nd family. But all of them was killed except him. After he got outside. He was saved by a group of humans named to be a member of the Japan Imperial Dragon Army and asked him if he hates vampire then he said he will join this organization and promised to kill all the vampire and avenge his family. read more 

They do have similar type of drama and plot: - Basically humanity is at the brink of extinction and humans are fighting for survival - The protagonist joins an elite squad to revenge his family - The protagonist has a "special" ability , and the story kinda revolves around it 

These two anime are very similar because the main characters both want revenge on the species that killed their family, have a weak but smart friend, is rivalling a friend, and comes close to death several times. Both of the anime's first episodes give me the same feel because well.... reasons. I suggest you check it out and this if my recommendation is spot on! 

-Both MC joined the army -Both series got strong enemies (SnK= titans and OnS=vampires) -cool anit-gear (Snk=3D maneuver gear and OnS= Cursed gear) -Both MC act cool, but are scared inside -Mysterious experiments in both series? -Most characters in both series experienced smth really sad. -Both MC has the desire to kill the enemies OP: The series has a lot in common, but after some episodes they are really different. I myself, watched OnS first and then SnK, but I think you can also watch the other way around. Most people even say that Yu = Eren 2.0 lol :P. So definitely check it out, it might be smth you like. 

Humanity is about to be annihilated by another specie vaguely known to humans. In both series, the main characters driven by their hatred against beasts, seeking vengeance for their treasured memories. To do this, they both enter a troupe for exterminating the beasts. 

Snk is very similar to OnS. WARNING : SPOILERS AHEAD, SCROLL TO BOTTOM For starters, both animes have a young lead role, and when the action began to surface in both animes, Yuichiro (OnS) was twelve and Eren (SnK) was 10/11. Next, both animes have some sort of apocalypse, in which the main character(s) wants to defeat the cause/enemy. In SnK, it's the Titans, and in OnS, it's the Vampires. Another similarity I found was that in both of these shows, one of the main characters is 'turned into' their enemy. For example, in SnK, Eren becomes a titan shifter after trying to defend Trost, and he can turn to a titan with a strong goal in his mind. In OnS, Mika is turned into a vampire while him and his 'family' were trying to escape the vampires. Speaking of which, during both of these incident, the main character is feared dead. Eren is feared dead after he is supposedly 'eaten' by a titan, and Mika is feared dead after he is supposedly 'eaten' by a vampire. However, neither of them are dead. *Those are only three of the many similarities between these two animes. If you liked Shingeki no Kyojin, there is a very high chance you would like Owari no Seraph. END OF SPOILERS *: I do not recommend watching OnS after SnK. Chances are, you've already suffered a major heartbreak during SnK, and OnS is the same way. I learned the hard way, haha. read more 

(also on my review) 1:Humanity on the brink of extinction from a super powerful enemy. 2:A black haired MC who wants revenge for his family getting killed. 3:An overall military theme, with one superior officer taking a liking to the MC. 4:Cool uniforms. 5: (Minor spoilers, skip this one)...... Both MC have an ability activated by either near death, or server pain, and become (one of the enemies) and becomes OP. 6:A large, unique cast, but with a main focus on the main squad, and the superior officer. 7:A decent amount of mystery behind what's going on, and what cause humanity to nearly die off. Also feels similar to "Black bullet"  read more 

Both share similarities: - both are people fighting to survive - Titans x Vampires - both have characters development through the episodes - intense action battles. - sword fighting. 

Both shows deal with the human race being near its extinction from creatures that eats humans. At the brink of extinction they have special soldiers to exterminate the beings whose consuming humans.  

Well those two animes are similar in a lot of things first: both main characters seek revenge for their family,second:both of the enemys sees humans as live stock in owari no seraph they see them as live stock cause they drink their blood and in shingeki no kyojin they see them as live stock cause they eat them that was my point thanks for listening :) 

Mankind endangered... the heroes are needed to protect the mankind from dangerous titans (Shingeki no Kyojin) and bloodlust vampires (Owari no Seraph). Therefore, Eren and Yuuichirou were born to protect the mankind with their unbelievable ability. They with their companion worked hard to destroy the enemies and save mankind. Fear, sadness, and desperation wrap every situation in both anime. Watch it and you will join and know how much effort spend by Eren and Yuuichirou to save and protect the mankind. 

Similarities: -Both main characters get their family killed at a young age -Both have creatures that are a threat to humanity -Both are about the survival of humanity -Both made by WIT Studio -In both humans are viewed as livestock -In both the protagonist joins an army place to fight against the monsters -Both protagonists start out in the series as young children then for most of the series are teens -Both protagonists grow a hate for the creatures -Both protagonists seek revenge Main differences: -SNK has titans while ONS has vampires -In ONS a lot of humanity was killed by a disease -ONS is more modern -ONS partly takes place in a highschool while in SNK most of the series is spent on training or fighting -ONS actually had it's second season released shorty after the first -In ONS the characters use a variety of weapons (swords, axes, etc.) while in SNK everyone uses one weapon (3D Maneuver Gear)  read more 

Both series star a naive protagonist whom strives to protect their said family and defeat evil. -Eren & Yuu have similar personalities, morals and both strive to defeat the antagonists (titans & vampires) of their series -A story about the struggle for humanity -Both protagonists wish nothing more than for the annihilation of the "monsters" that roam earth. and seek revenge -Both protagonists have lost a loved one(s) -Both face similar problems -If you like either of these animes you'll like the other 

Both revolve around humanity's recovery from near extinction. Both were animated by Studio WIT. Both are set within a walled off portion of a larger island within which the vampires/titans cannot attack the citizens. I simply prefer vampires over titans as the battles tend to be more strategy based and less going for the nape of the neck. That and the fact that Seraph of the End doesn't suffer from having a plethora of unimportant characters with little character development that will likely be killed off like SNK. 

The first two eps of Owari were so similar to SNK that I was afraid it was a case of blatant plagiarism. I had to pause the series and check their background to see if this was a case of plagiarism or not. Turns out, both anime come from the Same studio - WIT. So I guess they were trying to replicate the success of SNK. # Eren and Yuu both have anger issues and don't respond well to authority # Armin and Yoichi are the shotas that are saved by the protags from bullies, and end up being besties # Levi and Guren are the strict father like figures in the lives of the protags (which doesn't stop fangirls from shipping them with each other) # They both live in a world where roughly 90% of the human population has been rid of by supernatural creatures, whose origins remain a mystery # Supernatural creatures in both series look at humans as nothing but "cattle" # Both male protags are obsessed with ridding the world of these supernatural creatures. There are many other similarities, but they don't immediately come to mind. If you liked SNK, then Owari is a watered down fantasy version of the same. Go in with low expectations and you'll end up enjoying the series.  read more 

Both of these animes show the human race as being inferior to a Supernatural force that is Bent on taking them out,so the human Race decides to fight and take back the world they once had. Both of the stories see the main character as Weak at first but through pain and Trials and hard work he becomes Driven,Strong and ready for anything.  

The plot and characters are very similar. If you liked the revenge story in Shingeki, you'll love this. 

Similarities: -Humanity survival thing -Main character screaming constantly thing (A LOT more so for AOT though) -Edgy senpai (senpai for the fandom I mean) thing -Army forces thing -Experiment thing How they differ: -AOT is obviously about Titans, while OnS focuses more on Vampire vs Humans/Demons -The characters do differ quite a bit -The MC for OnS actually develops pretty well in the second season. 

The stories of those two Anime are somehow the same ,both of them are showing you how the mankind is trying to abandon the enemy that is besieging it. 

Both animes feature people who live fearing another stronger species , while being confined behind protective walls . 

It's literally like attack on titan, just vampires instead of titans and the fact that Owari no seraph has more focus on characters and it's not so serious all the time like attack on titan. They have chill and cute moments, more humour and better build relationships. (for example Mika and Yuu, the main characters of the show)  

Kinda similar concept, in owari no seraph vampires destroyed most of the humanity while in aot the titans did however owari is more focused on the battles that goes on against the two factions humans and vampires, recommended if you liked a lot the last seasons of aot 

Both are post-apocalypse where the main character is driven by his tragic past to kill the ones who killed his family. In both there is a bad ass character that saves the main character. 

Likewise story surrounding the fate of humanity and its survival. - Shingeki no Kyojin and Owari no Seraph both can be categorized into similar kind of post-apocalyptic world. - Both of the series have been produced by the same animation studio (Wit Studio) and have Sawano Hiroyuki as soundtrack composer. So, you can expect some mind losing music. - Humanity seems to be at the brink of extinction in both series and is endangered by another species (titans - vampires). - In both series, the MC joins the squad battling against the enemy and seeks revenge for their deceased family. - The animation style is quite similar. I bet you would very much like this series if you enjoyed Attack on Titan. read more

Firstly, they are produced by the same animation studio (Wit Studio) and share the same soundtrack composer, Sawano Hiroyuki. In terms of story, in both worlds, humanity is at the brink of extinction and is endangered by another species (titans - vampires). The protagonist is also a young boy who joins a squad to fight that species and to take revenge for losing a family member. In both anime, the atmosphere is a dark and serious one and the animation style is quite similar. If you are a fan of Shingeki of Kyojin, you will probably enjoy Owari no Seraph as well. read more 

Both main characters develop in a similar way. In both anime both sides have the same perspective that others are the enemies. Overall i think they're similar. Also they're made by Wit Studio so theres that (Shingeki no Kyojin seasons 1-3). 

Both anime take place during some sort of an apocalypse with these human like creatures taking over the world, driving the humans to almost go extinct. Also both animes protagonist are stubborn boys who will do anything that they can to kill the creatures taking over the world. 

Both anime feature a male mc who is driven by their revenge and hatred towards either vampires or titans. To be frank, they even have similar personalities.  

The titans and vampires are kinda treated the same way. There's this whole "war between vampires and humans" which is similar to the "war between titans and humans".  

Just like Kimetsu no Yaiba, the world-building of Owari no Seraph involves demons, though vampires are the biggest threat in the latter series. The main characters of the anime have a lot in common when it comes to personality. Besides, the main character of Owari no Seraph has a friend who goes through a terrible transformation, which is similar to what happened to Tanjiro and Nezuko in Kimetsu no Yaiba. In short, if you enjoyed Kimetsu no Yaiba there's a good chance you'll enjoy Owari no Seraph too, and the other way around. 

I think both of these shows follow similar shounen troupes where the main character's life is drastically altered by the actions of a rival race, and he takes up a sword. The protagonist's closest companion was turned into a member of the rival race against their wishes, but they still share a close bond. Similar themes about family and that the enemy isn't necessarily always a bad person/irredeemably awful.  

Both involve the main character’s family getting killed and the journey to turn the survivor back to human  

Both are shows about a young boy who has his family killed by monsters but one sibling survives and that sibling becomes one of those monsters. The MC then joins an organization comprised mostly of teens that specialize in killing those monsters and they have to use special swords to kill those monsters.  

The protagonists, the supernatural theme and the comedy tone. These three aspects make Owari no Seraph be a option if you searching for: protagonist with strong ideais, the supernatural vibe as demons / vampires, and comedy moments as a break during the plot 

Both shounen take place in imperial Japan one way or another, where the supernatural-weapon-wielding forces of humanity seem destined to lose against their demonic opponents. Themes of love and family are presented primarily through the main character duos of either series, but don't disregard the respective well-animated, dope action. 

MCs losing a companion and there companion changed into a vampire/demon MCs having there family killed. Wanting them to be normal again. Similar Themes. 

Similar settings with main and his family being devoured by the major antagonistic forces within both series, with demons in Kimetsu no Yaiba and Vampires in Owari no Seraph. With the protagonist in both of them on a vow to eradicate those opposing forces, there's a lot of bloodshed and violence on offer. Some real gory fights, with amazing animation. After all both of them are from the most well-known studios in industry. So if considering watching a fully action packed series with an old setting, go for Kimetsu no Yaiba, or if with a mix of high school and military, then Owari no Seraph is what should be considered. read more 

One again, we're introduced to a young boy who loses his family to one of the strongest demons/vampires and joins a corporation that seeks to destroy the murderers of his family, meeting allies along the way. However, his sibling has been transformed into a demon/vampire and he wants to find a cure. These demons/vampires appear similar to humans, but they have different characteristics and seek to feast on humans. 

Idk how to explain it but I'm watching Seraph of the End right now and I'm seeing a lot of similarities in them I think if you like demon slayer you'd like Seraph of the End, and in some ways it feels like a better demon slayer to me right now 

Tokyo ghoul and Owari no seraph both include main chars who used to be a normal human but through certain circumstances gained power, kaneki - Half ghoul -/ Yuu - Demon weapon/ 10% non-human Both strive to protect their friends more than anything 

I find at last few parts when it is similar to Tokyo Ghoul. A guy hates ghouls becomes one, so a guy hates vampires and becomes one... In both anime there are two male friends (that I ship lol can't be helped) and they go to different teams, one must hunt other and yeah the same happens to both of them. Both guys are super close and few years even pass when they don't meet, but they still have that connection ...I don't say I hated it, it's still different and can be developed differently so it's all cool. 

Fighting for the sake of humanity! Love and friendship! Searching for the light in both worlds! In Tokyo Ghoul, their war is against the ghouls. In Owari no Seraph, their war is against the vampires. Kaneki wants to protect the people he care for from both sides -humans and ghouls-. Mika wants to protect the person he care for "Yuu" from both sides -humans and vampires-.  

Both have similar themes about the true nature of humanity and in both anime there is another race that is feared and shown throughout the series to be misunderstood. (Ghouls in Tokyo Ghoul, the vampires in Owari no Seraph). Both of these anime left me waiting to see more, and both have a tendency to leave cliffhangers if that was something you liked. The biggest similarity to me is that in both stories a character is transformed into said super-race. (Kaneki in Tokyo Ghoul and Mikaela in Owari No Seraph) Also much like how the humans in Owari no Seraph form contracts with demons to combat the vampires the CCG/humans use Quinque, a special weapon used for taking out ghouls by using their own weapons against them. The main difference is the matter of who the protag and the focus is on, in Tokyo Ghoul instead of focusing on the character undergoing transformation in Owari No Seraph they mainly focus on Yuu (Protag) and the military's combat of the vampire threat. Although Mikaela and the Vampires do play an important role as well. And without too much spoiling Yuu still also has something lurking inside him. If you really like the idea of someone undergoing a transformation into what most would consider beastly like in Tokyo Ghoul you will still get that from Owari No Seraph but in a different way, if you want to focus more on Mikaela and his story which in that sense at least is more similar to that of Kankei's then there is a novel that came out alongside the series titled: "Owari no seraph: The story of Mikaela the vampire" in which you get a better backstory and get to see Mikaela as the protagonist. read more 

I'd 10/10 recommend this anime. It immidiately starts with action. No useless talking or stuff and that is, in my opinion, great. There are a lot of anime's that the action starts at like episode 12/24 and the first half is just useless info. I find that annoying honestly but this anime didn't annoy me for a sec. 

Both series are about humans vs. "monster" (ghouls in Tokyo Ghoul, vampires in Owari no Seraph). Both are very violent, bloody and kind of emotional/pshichological. Both have the same number of episodes, 2 Seasons of 12 episodes and will probably have a 3rd Season in the future In both anime the main charachter at the beggining is a normal boy that as a transformation (Kaneki as half-ghoul, Yuu as deamon weapon) In both the humans are the weak ones so they use other things to fight (quinque in Tokyo Ghoul, deamon weapons in Owari no Seraph) Both main charachters find a new "family" and have to safe their best friend (in Owari no Seraph the friend becomes a vampire). Both are so similiar! Are great, violent and have a lot of suspence... i really recommend both! read more 

Owari no Seraph ,of course,is a must on this list.With the vampire theme,characters whose feelings someone can relate and an intersting plot that closely resembles Attack on titan and Tokyo Ghoul,Owari no Seraph is a definetely an anime that you should watch.What is more,there is also a secod season ,so you have plenty of episodes to watch!! 

very similar characterization, and the plot too. I have to say tho, tokyo ghoul was much more intense, but owari no seraph is still really good. If your looking for a follow up anime for tokyo ghoul, owari no seraph is the one for you. 

The main character of Tokyo Ghoul, Kaneki, is a ghoul during the conflict between humans and ghouls. On the other hand, Yu is a human and the main character of Owari no Seraph, which tells a story of the conflict between vampires and humans. Both anime share a strong emphasis on friendship and teamwork, with subtle hints of romance. Also, Owari no Seraph is also set in Japan. 

Similar mc, somewhat similar plot and apocalypse. 

Ao no Exorcist and Owari no Seraph both are action packed shounen anime with supernatural themes. The protagonists are similar (can be argued that they are both typical shounen protagonists if that gives any indication of similarity) that have lost something due to a terrible tragedy the befalls them. This drives both protagonists to desire revenge on the entity that caused their strife. Both series have lovable and diverse side characters with fleshed out character arcs, and a well built out world for the series to exist in. 

Somehow while watching Owari no Seraph, it gave me a feeling that both main character's personality are somewhat similar to each other. Both of them are hotheaded, overconfident and believe that they do not need the training to face the enemy.  

- Both of the main characters wanna kill all the enemies but isn't that the thing in every shounen out there..same with other characters that are rivals with each others and stuff, they were pretty similar. - One thing is also that Yuu and Rin both have brothers that they love<3 Though when talking more about characters, OnS designs were like copies of series that have already come..just lazy (for example, Yuu looked like Basara in smnTestament) Gomen fans! - In the end (watchers know) Yuu reminded me of Rin and some other demons in ane - The school in OnS reminded me a lot of ane. It looked kinda the same. - If you wanna watch just one of them I'd recommend Ao no Exorcist, It's a lot better even though I didn't really like the ending that much. Both series follow the shounen formula: a hotheaded protagonist loses family/friends to the wills of a supernatural monster and vows to get revenge/defeat said monster with the power of a magic weapon and a handful of new friends. Both series have specialized schools and organizations with the purpose of training youth to defeat the monsters. They also share the theme of demons, though for different purposes, and the main characters are more than normal humans. The soundtracks for both series are products of Hiroyuki Sawano, and both series share great visuals/backgrounds.  

A teenage boy, desperate for revenge for his family after they were killed by a powerful, dark supernatural creature, seeks to enlist in a school for people who kill that kind of creature. His classmates and acquaintances serve as a supporting ensemble. Both series are action shounens with plenty of drama and heavy supernatural themes, though Owari no Seraph is a bit darker than Blue Exorcist. 

Both are very good animes, the passage of the school is similar on many details. 

They both give off similar vibes with a main protagonist who is hot-headed with a big heart trying to fight off an enemy they have more in common with than they think. Both have themes about family that are pretty similar.  

If Attack on Titan and Blue Exorcist had a love child, then Owari no Seraph would be it. I've already recommended AOT, and now I'm gonna recommend BE. Parallels/similarities include - # Protagonist who's lost his family due to supernatural elements and swears to take revenge # Their eagerness to not be in class but instead be out in the field, hunting/killing creatures # Their complete disregard for authority # Asshole in the class who ends up being his second or third bestie. # Magic, enchantments and weapons like scythes and swords being used to slay creatures # Classroom scenes that test students on their practical and bookish knowledge (and obv our hero excels at the practical knowledge but sucks at the bookish ones) In short, if you enjoyed Ao no then you're sure to like Owari no Seraph. read more 

The main characters both have swords, a hot temper and demonic powers. I would say that Owari no Seraph has more of an adult feeling to it and touches subjects like morals and death a lot, whereas Blue exorcist is a bit more light hearted and humorous, although touches those subjects as well but in a more gentle way. They are both great stories you should check out! 

Both protagonists are similar with their situation and overall personality. The series are both action packed and show the protagonists journey for revenge.

Definitely the same dynamics in terms of the 'child slave' plot, but with an added twist that helps the story focus on other elements such as the commonly loved power ups and relationships between characters. It does not have as many elements of mystery and outwitting opponents, but it is still an extremely well made anime. 

The theme from watching the first episode seems very similar, so you may like this as well! 

it's about wampires and normal people but there are special children in this anime too. 

If you lazy and want to watch "The Promised Neverland" in one episode, then you are in the correct place, in the first episode of Owari no Seraph the main characters will be in Orphanage same as neverland also the kids will be used as livestock instead of eating them they use their blood, and instead of demons they are vampires but the difference that they will escape in the first episode  

*Contains Spoilers*: Both begin with children being raised by a superior/stronger race as a source of food for the race in control in society. The main characters of both anime have a goal of escaping and being freed from the horrible reality they are facing, making them extremely similar. 

The Promised Neverland in my opinion is similar to Owari No Seraph in many ways. The fact that it has vampires/demons, people are used as livestock and that the Main Characters are doing their best to escape and survive in the the outside world, minus the fighting scenes in Owari No Seraph of course. To sum it up, i think that it's quite similar to Owari No Seraph. 

Both have the common theme of kids in dangerous situations. When I was watching Owari No Seraph s1 e1, it reminded me a lot of Yakusoku No Neverland. Both have kids from an orphanage trying to escape and make it into the human world alive. From there, they both have demons. Both shows have orphans fighting another species to live in peace. 

-Both series are about a destroyed world, in Owari no Seraph because of a virus which made also Vampires and Horsemen of the Apocalypse emerged from the darkness and fight against humans, while in God Eater destroyed by monsters named Aragami. -In Owari no Seraph humans made an organization known as Imperial Demon Army which is fighting against Vampires using powerful Demon weapons unlike in God Eater an organization known as Fenrir which exterminate Aragami using weapons called God Arcs. -The protagonist in both series join those organizations fighting with his team against Vampires/Aragami. 

Both anime take place in a similar apocalyptic setting. The main protagonists of each are black-haired, green-eyed, strong-willed and charismatic. Both have species of monsters that rule over humans and essentially destroyed society. In each world, there's a group of humans in the form of an army that fight the monsters. The weapons the army uses in each are similar in type and functions - as well as there being different 'levels' of weapons. The main protagonists both use a high-level weapon. They both also join the army with the intention of killing all the monsters.  

This goes for both ”Owari no Seraph” seasons.. Unique spin on the post-apocalyptic setting with similar protagonists. 

Both anime take place in a post-apocalyptic world where the humanity is cornered and is paying a dear price to survive. Both anime have this certain degree of epicness to them. Both anime include fighting with awkward, odious monsters. And, most importantly, both anime feature an MC who’s a hot-headed idiot. 

Both have the same apocalyptic theme. Both shows have some kind of monster to fight. Both shows the characters are using some special weapon against the enemies like for an example black bullets in Black Bullet and cursed gear in Owari No Seraph

In both shows, the main character is fighting monsters in a world where humanity is driven to the brink of extinction. While I was watching these two shows, they gave off similar world vibes, but overall, I would say Owari no Seraph is better because Black Bullet started giving off weird vibes midway through. Other than that though, if you liked Black Bullet than you'll most likely like Owari no Seraph.

Both have the main characters fighting against each other. Lastly Owari no Seraph is an AMAZING ROLLER COASTER ANIME like Code Geass !!!!!!! Feels like watching BLOCKBUSTER MOVIE THAN ANIME! Get hooked in the first episode with the INTENSE SPEED!  

Both of these series have two main characters living parallel lives but still attempting to fight the good fight. One character looks like he is fighting evil the other and one appears to be a sellout. Yu is like the Lelouch while Mika is the Suzaku.  

One of the centers of both stories are two old friends on opposite sides of a war, and both genuinely believe that they are on the right side. They both deal in a mix of dystopia and post-apocalypse. The emotions on these shows are big, loud, and deep.

In both of these anime, the main character undergoes a sudden yet unsettlingly dark tragedy. This tragedy consequentially makes them into a person who highly values and protects the relationships that they form with others. Both main characters find themselves on a team of skilled individuals with their own goals and underlying motivation to fight for their cause. Each main character also possesses a strong will to fight and sense that they hold the power to accomplish a great change in the world. Additionally, both anime depict a weak and lonely character who happens to meet someone that is able to grant them a considerable position of power. The character is able to utilize this to fight for the greater good of humanity as well as to accomplish their personal goals. Both anime also contain unique and powerful weapons, which are tailored for the fighting styles and personalities of the characters who possess them. They have weapons of different types that provide special strengths and abilities however not all weapons work for everyone. Owari no Seraph have demon weapons that may not mix with the user and in Akame ga Kill they have Imperial Arms. Both animes are undergoing a revolution, where there is no good guy. Nightraid are criminals, but it's because they are trying to change the world. In Owari no Seraph The Vampires are evil but that is because the Humans lead them up to be evil and the Humans are evil because they are being led up to be evil by the Vampires. Both anime make the viewer ask, is the main character a good guy? Or is he a bad guy? read more 

Owari no Seraph and Akame ga Kill! are two shows featuring a colourful (literally, they have quite the hair colours) cast of characters and themes of tragedy and revenge can be found in their stories. There are two sides in each series that fight against each other, and the main character joined the 'good' side with great hatred for the other side (more for Owari no Seraph). Special types of weapons and skills are also involved in their fights. 

Both of them are animes concerning happy-go-lucky group of teenagers with superpowers and/or superweapons (and a tragic past) who kill bad people to seek better days. Both of them have wasted potential. One has a bunch of average comedy that's often misplaced while the other has a bunch of fujoshi baits. Still enjoyable though. 

Both very interesting shounen series. Though their stories are very different, they both are similar in terms of the quality/how action pact they were. Includes many fights, friendships, losses, and keeps you interested for more!  

Very similar to Akame Ga Kill, especially as far as “group numbers” for main characters. And some of the action as well. Except this anime’s theme is vampires and military to an extent. 

In both anime: MC watches his whole family get slaughtered by vampires and his brother sacrifices himself to protect him. MC joins an anti vampire crew. MC later finds his brother alive as a vampire and loses will to kill vampires. We ship MC and brother instead of his waifu.

When I start watching Sirius I said is this a 2nd version of Owari no seraph I mean is just too many common things. First The MC saw his family getting killed by vampires but he has got saved by his brother who sacrificed himself, then saved for a 2nd time by a person whom the Mc respects such as a father. So our protagonist decides with the help of [his father-like figure] to join an anti-vampire organization to revenge from the vampires. Then finds later that his brother isn't dead yet but turned into a vampire Also, both protagonists have some kind of mysterious hidden power -The animation, characters development are just very good so I highly recommend both animes. read more 

Both have similar setting with the protagonist joining an organisation/group to seek for revenge after being saved by a person who the protagonist respects (fatherly-like figure). You would honestly ship the two in the anime together (mikayuu, yukhail). Both has vampires as the antagonist as well. However, the magical element is not brought out as much in Sirius than in ONS. 

- Both involves battle between Humans and Vampires - Both includes a main protagonist that reunites with someone very close from childhood, which turns out to be teamed up against you. - Sword Fighting - Emotional Backstory with character development - Main protagonists both have a secret/hidden power 

Sirius is so much alike with Seraph of the End in terms of the anime genre and theme, the main characters being close to each other in terms of relationship and name and the goal of the MC in both anime is essentially the same if not similar. It's a great anime to watch before or after watching Owari no Seraph so try it out. 

Both take place in post-apocalyptic worlds. Foreign species threaten all of humanity. Both series have definite BL elements as well, but No.6 is a lot more explicit with their relationships. It's fluff in a dangerous world all over ^^ 

Both talk about a type of virus affecting a nation. Both have a sort of "war" between two different populations. Also has a protagonist that faces internal conflict because they have involvement with "the enemy population". (Also has hints of shounen-ai) 

These are two of my most favorite animes that I am most passionate about. I watched them within two years of each other and although the overall plot is different, the characters and situations are not. Like Nezumi and Shion, Mikaela and Yuuichiro were separated at the age of 12. Mikaela is much like Nezumi in a way and Shion much like Yuuichiro, Mr. There's Always A Third Option. In Owari No Seraph, fans find themselves either shipping Mikayuu or Yuunoah, like in No.6 how fans find themselves shipping either Nezushi or Safu x Shion. In both series, one of the two characters has a goal and wants to protect the other one. Both shows have a great overall idea and fantastic characters. read more 

Friends that secretly like each other and have to fight some sort of evil force. Both are great, short shows I would reccomend. 

If you like Seraph of the End, you shouldconsider yourself try No.6. It's quite similar since the 2 main characters are boys who are close and the plot they are in are similar for example, in No. 6, the 2 main characters have cured a type of disease that is originally created by some factory... I'm not sure if I'm right since I'm not good at explaining. But I recommend this anime 

Extremely similar animes on many aspects: the setting of the story, the character types and their background stories, their goals, their personalities etc, the military with magical super powers setting, the subtle hint of shounen-ai, plenty of bishounens for the ladies to enjoy... And many, many more. In short, if you like one, you're most likely gonna enjoy the other. 

Characters: frau - ichinose, guren klein, teito - hyakuya, yuuchirou ayanami - tepes, krul celestine, mikage - hyakuya mikaela oak, shuuri - kimizuki, shihou - tsundere male character - a bit of boys romance - orphanage of mc - sexy male cast that can find attractive ( include voice actor too ) - battle of different species - both side have good players or good characters that you can enjoy while watching If you like all of those then you will like both of this anime.

It starts with a tragedy where the protagonist loses important persons and flees from a cruel system. Both protagonists are parentless and there's a deep male friendship. 07 Ghost is not shounen ai romance but still has a little BL subtext. Owari doesn't have such so far and I guess it won't since it's shounen. Owari is of very high quality (animation, music, atmosphere, story) and can bring your tears out. So can 07 Ghost since both have a very tragical start. But 07 Ghost gets a little too fluffy and stumpy over the episodes - it's also very shoujo'ish, while Owari is less like that but it can still be watched even if you prefer shoujo over shounen. Either of them has a certain amount of a military setting. read more 

A main character that is so naturally kind and noble they have no idea that they are. Both also lost their families when they were young and spent their teen years (and prior) learning to fight in a military setting.  

Both are set in a post apocalyptic-ish worlds, in which the main group of characters are fighting to save humanity. The characters are also very similar for e.g. Zero Two is quite literally the same person as Shinoa Hiragi <3.

Same main character and same heroine characteristics, pretty same art and style 

Both anime takes place in a world where humanity is about to go extinct. The protagonists are young in both the anime and I find the themes of love, friendship, loyalty etc. very similar. Both series involve secretive organizations and governments that keep hidden truths from the general population.  

Both have amazing MCs Both have action and drama Both have something to fight for 

They both take place in a post apocalyptic setting, and both have a struggle between two powers; the rebels and the tyrants. 

- Both are post apocalyptic - Both have good fights - Both gave off a very similar vibe and feel for me  

First of all the art style is quite similar, then you have the whole aspect of fighting with enchanted/magical swords, and finally both of them are slow paced 

In both animes, they have special organisations who can fight the enemies, they need to work in a team to fight overpowering non-human enemies, and they need a special weapon to be able to kill the enemies. 

To repel an invading force of both monsters and humanoid enemies teen soldiers must fight using melee and long-range combat in an urban setting. Our protagonists must learn to work together as a team to protect those they care about. 

its similar to owari no seraph as some point. ONS is about fighting vampire's while World Trigger is fighting a creature called '' neighbor''. one of the main character is actually a neighbor, I really recommend WT!! its really fun for me it has 3 season. ✧  

Both series have an organization of superpowered badasses that fights evil creatures, and the other side is your typical evil monsters that have some sort of royalty ranking system and are generally sinister. There's also the five man band of main characters, and then a few others who fade in and out. The most striking similarity, however, is the general vibe. It's dark with some lighthearted moments. Not to mention the uniforms are very much similar. 

Both revolve around the conflict between humans and demonic beings (Akumas in "D.Gray-man" and vampires in "Seraph of the End"). While the demons of both shows are definitely evil, the organization fighting them aren't exactly the good guys either, even though the main characters certainly are. As such, you often end up second-guessing just who you're meant to be rooting for. The vampire nobles are also comparable to the Noah Family in terms of status and power. I prefer "D.Gray-man", as it has better plot and more developed characters. 

Small squads are fighting supernatural adversaries. You can root for both sides. . Mentors of both protagonists are horrible. There are conflicts inside protagonists parties. Story drags on.. 

Same themes: vampire + military. It's also from the same studio: Wit Studio. The difference is that Owari no Seraph has the battle shounen feeling to it while Vampire in The Garden feels more like a seinen with yuri elements. 

Vampire and humans trying to live together. Romeo and Juliete-ish. 

Deals with the question 'can vampires and humans co-exist?' in their own universes. As another reviewer mentioned, there's strong military and apocalyptic themes in both animes. Both are centered on "human-vampire" exploratory relationships that blur the lines between 'just friends,' and 'more than friends' bonds. Possible difference is Owari No Seraph is overall lighter in tone, and does not have an unhappy ending.

A post-apocalyptic Earth, where the protagonist through revenge, will become someone "special" able to defeat those monsters that took away their loved ones and will join with others equally special.  

Kabaneri and Owari no Seraph both displays the downfall of humanity and the superiority of supernatural beings (Kabane and Vampires) over humans. It also shows the courage and boldness of humans to fight those beings in order to retrieve back the world which once they owned. For the main characters, Mika (OnS) and Ikoma (KnK), they have the blood of the creatures that conquers their world. Mika became a vampire and Ikoma is half-human and half-kabane (kabaneri) 

Pretty standard battle shounen. Both have a protagonist group with similar relationships between characters and similar outfit designs as well. The main characters in both have a personal connection with a character from the 'evil' team. There is a male character in both who has short pink hair. 

Both are shonens which take place in postapocaliptic world. Main characters join the organisation to fight the monsters which started the apocalypse and killed their family. The protagonists fight the evil organisation in which one of their relatives is a member. Both of the stories has typical shonen stamps, like the demon thing inside main character and their goal to destroy all evil. 

Vampire Knight is a romance, while Owari no Seraph is a story of friendship, but both have a similar tone, about vampire-human conflict in a dark world. Both have a heavy, bittersweet feeling and characters with tragic pasts and split loyalties.

Both character need to sacrifice for the precious to them .They got separate for some time .There doesn't include drama but it just really sad 

- Using weapons imbued with spirits whose power augment your own to fight evil monsters. - A hotheaded protagonist who just has to protect all of his friends. Watching Owari no Seraph makes me nostalgic of the early seasons of Bleach. 

A military organization uses magic weapons that activate/change form when the wielder calls their name. These weapons are named after the being posessing/representing them, which wielders must form a bond with through meditation or confrontation. The military organization is not quite as it seems with secrets and factional conflict just below the surface. 

Vampires ^-^ - Beautiful art and style. - Vampires and Vampire Hunters - Two male leads - Many likable and pretty characters - Great chemistry between characters - Well designed and illustrated fight scenes I loved Seraph of the End and after watching Vanitas no Carte, it's immediately what came to mind. -  

Both are vampire-themed action animes, with similar main characters and a few parallels 

Both belong to the Post Apocalyptic genre and feature the catastrophic incidents happening due to the invasion of non-human creatures i.e Mecha Robots (86) & Vampires (Owari no Seraph) The protagonist suffers the most in both the animes also he got some intimite friends in need always ready to help in any consequences. I would recommend to give it a try for someone who has a liking in this particular genre 

Vampires, vampires, vampires! Both shows revolve around vampires and how they're a nuisance to society. Owari no Seraph doesn't quite hold the same comedic aspects as Strike the Blood, but if you're looking for a more serious, darker show about vampiric and human relations, Owari no Seraph is the way to go. 

They share a common vampire theme with some battle/action scenes. 

-Both have a family theme, Ed and Al have a strong bond just like Yuu and Mika -Both want to help their brother get back to normal, Ed getting Al's body back and Yuu changing Mika back to human. Owari no Seraph is an all around great show about family, vampires, demons and angels. Highly recommend to any fan of anime. 

- Both have special empowered weapons in order to fight against the enemy - Main characters are similar to each other - "Enemies" in both anime have rankings similar to each other, although it is more mentioned in Jujutsu Kaisen - Both anime have a school for training against the enemy 

-The second main character from both series (aka Seras and Mika) are forced to become part-vampires who at first refuse to drink blood. -Organizations that fight against vampires. -Both the main characters are shown to be terribly strong; some might even say overpowered. -The weapons the characters use are specially designed to be used against vampires. 

If even after Owari in the Seraph, you are still interested in vampires it is strongly recommended to take a look at Kuroshitsuji. 

Both anime are set in a futuristic age and both of the main characters experience a loss that drives them to act as they do. Both anime have themes of action and fantasy and a main character full of determination. Whilst watching Chaos Dragon I was heavily reminded of ONS.  

Zetsuen no Tempest’s themes of revenge and close brotherly friendship abound in Owari no Seraph. Yuuichirou has the same thirst for revenge as Mahiro does, with the same level of self-destructive rage backing it. The two anime are also both very dark, drawing on supernatural human-like creatures to drive the plot along (witches/magic and vampires/demons/angels). However, Owari no Seraph does focus more on redemption than Zetsuen no Tempest. Yuuichirou is searching for a reason to keep living after his family’s tragic death.
