This is my first review of a light novel.
I want to say that I am not familiar with English so I will try to write it correctly.
First of all I met Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou. Thanks to the manga, It is rare that an anime or manga encourages me to read his novel. My first impression of this novel was that I found a little different manga. The story is well developed but very slow since it does not focus much on some important details. This novel is better than some popular novels, this novel is different from the usual (not as typical) and makes you enter the feelings that each protagonist transmits. Show feelings with everything you read and that gives a positive point to this story, characters. The characters are well included in the story and each one has its mystery and develops a bit slowly but surely. The negative of this is that it is heavy to read it in some details of the chapters are unnecessary (Although it may be a matter of mine since I looked anxious and finish it quickly) I recommend that you read it calmly (not like me haha)
In summary, this novel makes you enter the story a bit weird to watch, with a drama that develops slowly but safely developing the characters and seeing each other's point of view. You just have to enjoy it and protect it

It is strange if the final winding is regret or happiness.

This is the story about an office worker, Yoshida. One day Yoshida confess to his boss, but his confession get rejected by Airi Gotou. Until one day when he was walking to the apartment, Yoshida met Sayu, a high school girl. Sayu Ogiwara is a runaway girl from Hokkaido, Sayu tell to Yoshida if Yoshida can sleep with her as long as Sayu gets a place to sleep. However, Yoshida refuses Sayu and this story full of intrigue and drama begins.

I like stories, I like the simple writing style, I like long dialogues over monologues, I shed tears when the climax of the story was at its peak, I like those sentences makes me something that changed my life.

I don't want to say much about the stories part, I feel that a story like this is good and the ending of the series is also good, even though the author is really playing it safe. I emphasize, there is no hanging ending. It all depends on how we look at it from the point of view of stories. We can take lessons from every journey. If we start to lose our way, If you can't get up on your own, ask someone else for help. If we are already destroyed by our own mistakes, then wait for the right time to get back up. If you can't invite other people, walk side by side with them. Everyone have weaknesses, It all depends on how we see it.

We are free to hate something, because it is our destiny as haters. Sayu is a JK girl, love is hard, and teenagers are at the most confusing stage of their lives. The problem of the characters is a complicated things because they always develop along with the story. Sometimes a trash character appears, sometimes a character appears who is the key to the end of the story, and many others. I like how the author really gives the background for each character very interestingly, So that the main character's problems can be solved as well and give a satisfying ending, I wouldn't hesitate to call this light novel the best of the year because tbh, HigeHiro has an interesting character development and character background.

Does an illustration or art play an important role in a light novel?

Idk, Can we imagine an actual event with an illustration or does the sexy character design make us fall in loves with those chara? HigeHiro has beautiful character designs, and that's no doubt if you look at Airi Gotou, Yoshida, and Sayu. They are really important for this light novel. I still remember the illustration in volume 4. I like the illustration of the star scenery, it evokes a dark atmosphere when tired for reading. I don't care about art section, because basically this is a Light Novel Novel and not a Manga or Anime.

Is this series good, do I have to read to reach a good ending?

No, I heard the anime adaptation will cover the entirety of the Light Novel which is five volumes. However, before the anime ended I had read this light novel and I really enjoyed it, I have nothing to lose by buying every volume of the book and walking to the bookstore just to read this masterpiece series.......
