The Manga Store is a service inside MAL that enables you to purchase and read manga digitally.
Manga may be purchased by the chapter, volume, or you can purchase all volumes together.
Purchased manga can be viewed on your bookshelf. You can read the manga you have purchased by selecting the purchased manga from the bookshelf and using the viewer function.
Can I buy a physical copy?
As the Manga Store only contains digital eBooks, it is not possible to buy a physical copy.
In what countries can I use the Manga Store?

What is a "Volume"?
A volume is a book of collected manga chapters, just like a graphic novel.
What is a "Chapter"?
A chapter is the foundational unit for a manga story. Chapters are usually released on a set schedule, for example every week, or every month. When enough chapters have come out, they are put together to form a volume.
Is there a limit to the amount of times I can read something I’ve purchased?
You can read the items you've purchased as many times as you like.
Can I download the manga I've purchased?
It is not possible to download manga you have purchased. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Can I read my purchased manga offline?
You will need to use the Viewer function on the Manga Store to read your purchased manga, which requires an internet connection. Offline usage is not possible.
Can I read my purchased manga even if I am banned?
You can still read the items you have already purchased, but will not be able to make additional purchases.
If terminate my MAL account, will I still be able to read the manga I bought or the items I was reading during my time as a user?
Please understand that all your purchased items will be deleted at the same time you terminate your account.

How do I make a purchase?
First, select the manga you would like to purchase.
For an individual manga, go to the details page for that manga and click the "Checkout - All Volumes" button to purchase all the available volumes.
You can also go to the Volume details page and click the “Checkout” button to purchase an individual volume.
What forms of payment are accepted on the Manga Store?
We accept purchases via PayPal, as well as credit card payments through Stripe.
How can I check the currency of the displayed price?
Please check the Payment Currency displayed on the page.
Are minors able to make purchases?
Minors may make purchases, but please make sure to check the rating of each item before making beginning any transaction.
Is it possible to get a refund or cancel my order after making a purchase?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to cancel an order after a purchase has been made.

Why am I being asked for the country I am in on the payment page?
To ensure that we are calculating tax correctly, we need to accurately know the country our users are in.
Will my credit card information be saved on MAL’s website?
No, MAL does not save any credit card information.
