SANRIO Animation Series, a.k.a. Sanrio World Masterpiece Cinema Series (サンリオ世界名作映画館シリーズ, Sanrio sekai meisaku eigakan shirīzu), is a series of 80 Japanese OVAs produced between 1989 and 1998, and animated by Gropuer Production. 28 of these OVAs (and 2 Sanrio Anime Festival films) were dubbed in English under the title Hello Kitty and Friends. The series featured Hello Kitty and other characters like Keroppi, Pochaco, and Pekkle.
