As I wrote in my previous review I really liked Clannad. It brought to me a new view of this world and my life. I wasn't expecting much from After Story even though I was told it is much better than the first season. As one of my friends said: „After Story is invaluable.“
Well, he was right. Oh my goodness oh my dayum. How could I doubt this „second season“. Yea I cried once in Clannad (and as I said before, I usually don't cry at films etc.) but here I cried at least four times and many times I had wet eyes. Honestly this is THE MOST EMOTIONAL ANIME EVER. I was really moved by After Story. I don't know more emotional film, book, anime that this one. Nothing moved me like this.
I don't really like just meaningless, empty stories based on emotions or action. I am always looking for a deep thoughts. Haha this was amazing. Especially the final episodes are really interesting and deep. Believe or not, it reminded me last episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion. This anime makes you think about your life. Especially about relationships with your friends, lovers, family and well everyone ^_^.
Very important is also the side story about Girl from the world that has ended. This story started in Clannad and here it continues and ends.
You can meditate for a long about the ending. There could be many theories about that. I actually don't agree with the common explanation with light orbs (don't wanna spoil much).
Don't hesitate and watch this. This is one of the most valuable anime I know.
