Words can't describe how much I loved this anime. It was so heartwarming and cute, you didn’t want to stop watching. Kobato had a tear-jerker side imbedded into it, just like a jewel on a ring, making the piece even more beautiful. CLAMP did a wonderful job constructing this masterpiece, taking a semi-generic idea and keeping it fresh and out of the box. The character's personalities made this story worthwhile, along with the breath taking art. Kobato inched its way into my heart, forgive me if I'm being too biased, making its mark on my top 10. The story has laughter that will keep you smiling and sadness that will wet your eyes, so grab a few tissues. Most of all Kobato's relationships and bonds made the anime come together, in friendship and in love.
As all animes stand, there is always room for improvement, yet I feel that Kobato was excellent exactly the way it is.
