Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko is primarily a slice of life show, and like all good slice of life shows, it is more about the journey than about actually getting anywhere. Its languid, everyday-life pacing makes it feel like you're reading the boring everyday diary of a young man surrounded by crazy people. You can't expect any space battles or alien invasions, even though it does have something to do with aliens.

The music is enjoyable and appropriately strange. This show is also satisfyingly free from the melodrama that makes a number of similar shows unwatchable. I wouldn't mind watching it again some time.
