The plot can be understood if watched with a good eye, yet the flow tends to be jumpy a lot. But to me, I still understood the story so I don't have much complaints about the plot. It is very similar to Code Geass, but Guilty Crown uses a different approach to make the plot occur.
The characters are fine, but some tend to be difficult to like. But unlike many others, I'm not talking about Shu - the main character of the anime. The reason for that is because the script and such makes things about the characters often forced and unbelievable. I believe that if the anime was done better, Guilty Crown would have been more appealing and greater to the others.
Well, we all have our own opinions. But I can say that while Guilty Crown may not be the best anime, it is one of the animes that you can give a try and you can even enjoy if you have an open mind.
