Baccano is a very unique way of telling it's own story. And has a large range of characters that each have their own depth. It is one of few animes that capture the time period well, and use the setting to accentuate the characters. I believe that the story could have had a bit more of a conclusion to it though.

As a side note, baccano one of the few openings that I actually enjoy watching. I't fun, playful, and it's a great start to a great anime.
