One word - Amazing! Seriously this anime was so much fun with it's plot-gripping drama, beautiful visualisations and a 'to-die-for' lead. Our hero is a young 12-year old boy, Earl Ciel Phantomhive, head of Phantomhive household and sole owner of Funtom company along with his one hell of a butler, Sebastian Michaelis, who's actually a demon in disguise, bound to Ciel by a Faustitian contract that makes him his shield until Ciel achieves his goal and in return he gets to eat Ciel's soul. Unlike other boys his age, Ciel is so cool with his mysterious past; surrounded by despair, forsaken his future, committed sins too unclean and yet his soul still untainted. All this only serves to make his soul even more salivating, something worth fighting for, something worth getting attached to.
Ciel is someone who when surrounded in pitch darkness with only a single spider thread for freedom will pull on that thread not to escape from despair but to pull the other person holding onto it. And this is something Sebastian always responds to with 'As expected of my Master.'
If you have free time to spare, watch it! Seriously, you'll be in for a treat.
