Honey & Clover was the most pleasant surprise I had in the past few months or so. I really didn't expect it to be THAT good.

Both the characters and the relationship between them are outstanding. I can't think of a flat character among the main ones (Takemoto, Morita, Hagu, Yamada, Mayama and Shuji), they are all round and well made. It's hard no to see yourself in a lot of situations.

How these people get along during the challenges that appear during college days and some love triangles take the most part of the show. An odd thing is that to me the lead character (Takemoto) was rather uninteresting until the end of the first season.

The soundtrack also stands out in Honey & Clover. Right in the first episode there is a remarkable scene with the OST. The OP-ED are unusually good, with some references of the anime itself (as usual) and other movies/series, like Beetlejuice, which is very interesting.

I'd recomend it to anyone, one of my favorite animes.
