Ok just imagine if you had notebook that allowed you to kill anyone just by writing a persons name in it, obviously you would do the world a favor and kill all the really evil people like hitler and your bother but what would you do after that? Basically this show mind fucks the shit out of you and showcases how smart Light(the guy with the notebook) and L ( the worlds best detective) are through their battles in trying to take the other one down with wit and strategy and how stupid basically everyone else is on the show. Death note, if you watch anime, chances are you've heard of it and that it's really good, so listen to what you've heard and watch it. Seriously every episode is like mini mind fuck.
