Ah. School Days. A realistic portrayal of a harem, a breath of fresh air from the other harem filing the market. Does it do it well. Yes and No. It does it, but only to an extreme that is only seen in works of fiction. So it does work in its universe, but not to excellency. But, lets get on to the review.

Story: A nervous guy encounters puppy love, see it is not what he thought, and all of it goes downhill from there. It does show the repercussions of thinking with something other then your brain. But, the attitude that many characters make it seem like fantasy, one I would not like to be a part of. So, for its realism in that regard, the story gets a 6/10.

Art: The main/supporting characters all have a distinct features that will be recognizable, and are usually fluid, with an unexpected (depending on your view) increase in animation fluidity during pivotal scenes. But any background characters do not move, or have any distinctive features. But the backgrounds are nice, so a 7/10 for Art.

Sound: The BGM/OST during most of the anime was not memorable. and the OP during the latter half of the anime was jarring, but the high quality of the EDs raises the sound to an 8/10.

Character: Ah, Makato Itou, the most hated character in the existence of Anime by many individuals. But for all the hate, he is a realistic Teen, just entering puberty, his hormones are going crazy, and if girls will throwing themselves at you, wanting to do the deed, what would you do? Still, his actions were despicable. Katsura, Kotonoha, The way she acted was just how many individuals not okay with their body would react, but what she deserved was better, MUCH better then what she got. The only con is that she should be a little more talkative to cease misunderstanding. Saionji, Sekai. She is horrible for what she did to kotonoha, and caused the downward spiral of Makoto, but she is a female Makooto, and did not know how to react to her hormones as well. All other girls were just Sex objects, and aside from Setsuna, were one-dimensional. So for characters, a 7/10.

Enjoyment: This will be short. It was an enjoyable experience, and I found myself loving this anime just for the horrible decisions that each character made. I loved to hate this anime. A 9/10 for enjoyment.

Overall, This anime is an 8/10.
