As someone who didn't even know that the Tenchi Muyo franchise existed prior to watching this anime, I can tell you that it is without a doubt one of the best series I have ever watched without the stigma of being "yet another Tenchi Muyo series"

Story:
It revolves around Masaki Kenshi, who was sent from his homeworld Earth to faraway world Geminar. In Geminar there exists mechanoid weapons known as Seikijin which are used instead of your typical armies, and their pilots known as Seikishi. The story is brilliant as it's not too fast paced that you get confused as to what is going on, but also not too slow so you actually get involved in the story rather than sit around hoping it moves forward. It's not just your "typical" mecha in the same vein that it's not your "typical" harem.

Art:
The character designs were really well done, and each character had their own feel to them. The scenery and the background was very attractive and you could imagine yourself actually being there. The mecha designs were brilliant as each character had their own mecha design and wasn't just a "stock" design and colour regime.

Sound:
I really liked the background music and it really fit in where it was placed. The right tone and pace for the easygoing/peaceful music fit the atmosphere, and the dramatic/lowered tone music really fit the tensions in the scene they were placed. OP and ED wasn't something amazing, nor was it something bad. Both of them fit the show really well and the videos shown give you a sense of what's to come. The voice acting on average was above par compared to some shows i've seen, i was really impressed with Kenshi's VA throughout and each character had their own quirks which were all well done ~Zamasu!

Character:
As i mentioned in the story, this wasn't your typical harem. Most harems follow a certain design, with the Main Character (MC) either being a childhood friend or helping them out which gets the girls to like him in turn. In Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari, Kenshi just steals the show by either being adorable (this is coming from a straight guy), hilarious or utterly badass, and the girls around him fall for him in no time. Each girl in the harem has their own quirks and personalities, none of which are recycled and all of which are actually enjoyable and well liked.

Enjoyment:
This show gave me the most fun i've ever had watching anime, everything i've mentioned is combined into one big ball of epicness. Also, this show has an amazing amount of rewatchability value, i am not ashamed to admit i have watched it in its entirety 9 times. Each episode is 45-50 minute long, which is good for those of us who hate it when episodes end so suddenly after 25 minutes, but its not too long to make you run out of patience.
