Story: The story had a lot of potential. Zombie Apocalypse...sounds pretty sick. But, instead the group of kids in the Highschool decide on trying to find their families. I don't know, I didn't really like that as much as I expected. The story was also quite boring towards the end of the series for me (episodes 10-12). I give it a 6/10
Art: The art was great. The zombies were all drawn very well and nothing looked odd. Only complaint I have is the girls' hairstyles...I thought they looked stupid honestly. But I still give the art a 10/10
Sound: The sound was cool. I liked the openings and the BGM's as they all fit within the show. Each episodes ending was a different song, so that was something cool. The English Dub is honestly quite different from the Japanese version including much more profanity and a lot of the lines were different than what they should of been. 9/10
Character: I didn't really like any of the characters much except for Saeko to be honest. The cast is all pretty sterotypical (Normal leader, bratty girl, stupid girl, normal girl, sadistic girl, comic relief guy etc)
No one really stood out a whole lot except for Saeko in my opinion. 7/10
Enjoyment: Besides the OVER-EXCESSIVE USE OF FANSERVICE, I enjoyed it. Even though the end was quite slow in my opinion, it was okay. 7/10
Final thought: Highschool of The Dead is a goodish anime. It's not very memorable (except the fanservice) and won't be in your "Wow that was one of the best animes I've seen!" list. It's worth watching however, since it's only 12 episodes.
