Chihayafuru is one of the BEST anime i have watched! It has unique and intricate drawings that express each character perfectly. I really enjoyed the storyline. The storyline was fresh and different from other animes that revolve around a game or activity. I loved how it focused on Chihaya optimism and ambition, when she is playing Karuta. It made me want to extend my hand into the screen and play Karuta as well :D

The characters suited the anime amazingly well. Chihaya tomboyish behaviour but yet funny and enjoyable actions brought the story alive and made me keep watching. Also isn't her character beautiful! I love just how Yuki Suetsugu illustrated her and the other characters, its very detailed but yet simple.

Arata accent made it different and peculiar to listen to. I always had a eager feeling whenever Chihaya tries to contact or about to meet Arata. But then when they meetit is always cut short making me feel disappointed but yet making it more interesting for me to watch on!

I love how Taichi personality when he was a kid completely change when he started playing Karuta again!

Overall Chihayafuru is a exciting and enjoyable anime and manga that keeps you wanting more (SO GLAD they made a second season :3)
The emotions the characters feel and express make you as the audience feel the same way as them.

I recommend this to everyone and especially to people who love to watch fresh, friendly and inspriring anime!
