Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Story:

Yuuta Togashi is our main character, Suffered from acting "Child Like" during his whole Middle School, Now he has passed that stage in his life, Or so he thinks. High school was going good until he met Rikka Takanashi, She turns his once ordinary and civil school life into something more chaotic & fun.

Rikka Takanashi (AKA "Wielder of Tyrant's Eye") drags Yuuta into creating this School Club involving the weird world that revolves around Rikka, Yuuta was once this "Odd" as mentioned during his younger school life, but he has changed and wants to remove/erase his past as he and others find it embarrassing.

Rest of the show is revolved around this club and the variety of other characters introduced who join the club at points during the series.

Art/Sound:

A typical "Kyoto Animation" look to this series, The visuals are simply stunning and one of the best you find in any series, Even down to the animations and characteristics are incredible, The little things they bring to a series, For example the way they can make a girl with a patch on her eye somehow cute.

Sound is top notch as well, Didn't feel a voice was out of place, really enjoyed Uchida Maaya voice work for Rikka.

Final Views:

For me i really enjoyed this series, At the start it did seem pretty odd, Had a similar feel to it that Angel Beats had, But you kept with it, because the relationship building between Rikka and Yuuta was fun to watch, the rest added to this constructed chaos.
One issue i have with many series of this length (12 Eps) is the ending feels rushed in a lot of series, but Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! did it perfectly, added a fair bit of drama, but it was well placed and shown me the deeper message behind this series (After Thoughts)
From Episode 8/9 this show just picked up for me, and had some really amazing scenes which Kyoto pulled of well.

To note, For me Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! improved with each episode, i really enjoyed the characters and overall this is a very solid series and one you will enjoy, it was a really unique mix and something i enjoyed a lot, I would recommend this to you if you like Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, they are very similar shows.

After Thoughts:

Now i realize after finishing the show. The phrase you will hear a lot is "Eight Grade Syndrome" which basically means, when you don't act your age and do silly things people would expect from kids, others may class this as weird but in the series they try and make this look like something you want to change in the case of Yuuta he wanted to forget it ever happened. Because at some point in time you have to grow up, But near the end the series shifted its focus, it showed why its NOT all that bad having that "Eight Grade Syndrome" some may say its immature or weird, But you need that, Otherwise you would just be boring, as they say for some "At heart im still a kid" and i think a lot of us still are.
