I just finished watching this series and I found it strangely addicting. Once i hit the fourth or fifth episode i couldn't stop myself from watching. Michiko, an escaped convict from a high security prison, breaks into the house of Hatchin(Hana) one day and tells her to come with her. When i say break in, i mean actually break through a wall on a motorcycle too! That is the kind of eventful action that occurs throughout the whole series, it was definatly not lacking in that department. The two then go on to find a man, Hiroshi, who is Hatchin's father and Michiko's lover. The story follows them through what seems to be a south american style country while being chased by cops and gangsters. The art is a unique mix of a lot coloring while maintaining a dark and gritty atmosphere. This show actually reminded me of a mix between Black Lagoon and El Cazador de la Bruja...even Michiko was reminiscent of Revy, though not as violent. The music was fantastic. It really made you feel the spanish/south american setting. The character's were also great. The two main protagonist's are fun to watch together, whether arguing or running from gangsters and cops. Also the side characters were very interesting, appearing and disappearing within one or two episodes. Each personality was unique though giving spice to the interactions they had with the protagonists.
