Before I started watching this anime, I was looking for something bloody and evil like Deadman Wonderland, or Mirai Nikki. So, the thought of vampires came into my mind, making me remember about Hellsing. I went onto MyAnimeList.net to look at the overall scores on available TV shows of Hellsing. I've seen a few videos of Hellsing before on YouTube, but nothing I could remember. I was a bit disappointed to see that the majority of scores were pretty low except Hellsing: Ultimate. The score, 8.79 I saw. That immediately made me want to watch this anime. (I know I'm one of those people that overlook an anime by it's overall score, but I have my reasons too.)
After watching three episodes, I have to say this is one of the best action TV shows I've ever seen. It's filled with bloody gore and evilness, it makes the blood in my veins get goosebumps whenever the main character Alucard, starts to rampage on all those who get in his way. Okay, not exactly rampage, but obliterate.
Art: I thought the art looked pretty seemed a bit choppy at times, I might be because I'm not watching it in HD. I liked it a bit though.
Overall, this anime will probably be one of my all time favorites.
D. GRAY-MAN FANS. I have something to say to you guys. After the first episode, doesn't it remind you of Cross Marian and Allen Walker? :O Alucard has a similar hat like Cross Marian and Police Girl(forgot her name) is like Allen Walker in a way. At the end of the episode, Alucard is insulting Police Girl by telling her that she's a coward and stuff. Also, that she has a lot to learn. Police Girl is calling Alucard, "Master". Alucard is using a gun like Cross Marian. They both have long hair? xD There are probably other things I can relate about the two couples, but that's all I can think of for now. :)
