The characters are amazing, i have fallen in love the characters of Edward and Alphonse, but what i really enjoyed about this anime is that you can actually see the characters getting older, and they are not afraid to kill off characters so be warned, this series will make you cry.
Overall this is my favorite anime, when the box set came out i had to buy it just so i can re watch it over and over gain.Its just that amazing, i am very glad that i started to watch this, but at the same time im glad i watched Fullmetal alchemist first before brotherhood because it made me appreciate it more.
