Before you read this review, please know that the manga is only 8 chapters in so depending on the rest of the story, the score may vary.
So far the score I gave the story is a 5. The way it was written, it almost seemed like the mangaka didnt know how to transition the story between a fantasy and slice-of-life. One minute your reading a normal school-environment-rom-com and the next, theres a random twist and its turned into this modern day fairy tale. The 5 might be a bit harsh, seeing as the storyline was semi-interesting, and at first I thought to myself "hmm, ok thats interesting enough." To be honest though the modern day fairy tales are pretty common these days and the storyline was just a little TOO unbelievable.
The art was ok, and ill be generous and give it a 7. I thought it was a bit overdone with the shiny scenes and the roses and sparkle background, but to each his own. The characters were all cute so thats probably what gives it the extra points.
CHARACTERS-6. Now heres where I was torn. At first I was really into the characters, each guy had a different personality with some deep past and an interesting background story. The character interaction was cute and funny and it was good enough to get a high score from me, nothing amazing but still good. So somehow theres this reverse harem going on that involves 4 guys and one girl (which initially thats way too much imo) but i figured id go with it. Then they add in another girl, but she isnt involved with anyone, and then 3 more guys who probably like the main girl as well. so overall we have 2 girls and 7 guys that all like the one girl--- WAY TOO MUCH. Sorry, theres a point when a harem is just ridiculous.
Like I said before, this was cute and funny, and this had the potential to be a good manga, but my enjoyment level was probably around a 7, and overall I would have to give this manga a 6. Unless the story changes dramatically, I would say dont read it, it will just tire you out!
