At first glance this may seem like your typical, big breasted, typical guy, mythical girl anime but, you have to dig deep to get to the heart of this anime. The plot is simple, a normal human boy "coincidentally" gets admitted to a school filled with monsters. This anime is considered a romance but you have to go past all the fan-service to find it. The relationship between the main character and main girl is quite funny and at times heart warming. His extreme love for her no matter who or what gets in the way is surprisingly sweet. The comedy is slap stick for its repeated boobs to the face and trips with panty shots. For all the ladies, like me, that take a chance at this anime, you have to try your best to forget about all the breasts laying around. The fan-service,to say the least, gets old fast. If you stick with this though, and don't give up, it can turn out to be somewhat funny and romantic. So I gave the story a 7, since it is quite typical and hard to find the true meaning behind the work. Though it is still high since the plot is there, somewhere.
The art work on the characters is... once again typical. The girls are very cute and extravagantly made to look "sexy", like most ecchi animes. The boys are typical and oh so very plain. If you are a girl watching this, there are few fan-service for us ladies. A couple times throughout the main guy has his shirt off, but it is so plain and not very well drawn out that it is not very attracting. Though for the lads the girls boobs and panties are typically well drawn and bouncy , very very bouncy. You may be wondering , why such a high number for the art, well it is the landscapes. The human world, nature, and Yokai Academy is very well drawn. It has attention to detail, but not to realistic.
The sound on the character is well. The voice actors do a good job representing their role on the character. The guys voice is plain but sweet. All the girls are cute and each have their on role. Either the voice actor can play the seductive girl or the cute innocent one, they make it work. Why such a low number than, the music. The same repeated quotes and music played every fight, romance, or dramatic scenes get old, so so quick.
Even though I hate so much on the characters they actually are quite unique. Their is one thing you don't see to much which is a stalker. The typical moe girl, the normal sweet girl(and her sadistic side), and many others. With each introduction into a new character, the producers give enough time to get to know them. They each have very deep personal stories and sides, except of course the main guy. Anyway, each character is still very well represented the way they were supposed to be.
Enjoyment, this really just matters on the viewers eyes. If you are a guy then this will be more like porn then anything. The girls though may get to see the true meaning and enjoyment in this anime. Except of course if you are a decent enough guy to see past it too.
Overall it is a pretty typical anime, but still has enough RomCom, mythical creature, action fights to keep you through at least the first season. The second season, I believe, is a lot better so if you can fight through this one, and another round of fan-service, you may be able to see what Rosairo Vampire is all about.
Get ready guys for a lot of nose bleeds. Get ready girls for a lot of feels.
