A lot of people say that BakemonoGatari is a very intriguing anime that does a very profound job in art and story, but to me, after watching NisemonoGatari, would think that there is not an actual distinct plot to follow. I personally like NisemonoGatari much more than this anime, because it has more plot and an over-arching theme. I thought this anime is overall good, but not as excellent as a 10 (my friend's score).
