"Why are the good anime's always so short?" -Darkshadow222
Ga-Rei: Zero is an anime someone recommended to me, being only 12 episodes I decided to watch it. Turns out it was great!
This anime is about two girls (Kagura) and (Yomi) who refer to themselves as sisters and purify the world they live in of evil and supernatural beings. They train together, live together, eat together, and spend their nights disemboweling demons with sacred blades together. Through the story progression you will understand their backstories and get a lot of character development. I don’t want to spoil too much about the story but Kagura a vanquisher will endure hardships and progress to become strong to take her father’s place one day. I don’t know why but this series reminds me a lot of Blood + from the perspective of the protagonist taking down monsters with her sword so if you liked that series I would recommend Ga-Rei:Zero.
