The main plot of this anime is simple but there are often some unexpected twists make u speechless. The switching between the characters are also done nicely. This not only give the viewer different perspective of the story and also keep the story clean and crisp. One problem I have though is that the story start off really slow so many might find the first ep kinda boring.
As for the art, it was generally on the good side, but for today's standard, this level can only be given a good. Though, the scenery and background details are done quite nicely. However, throughout the anime, I did catch some small flaws in the animation. For example in ep 2, 5 and ep 10, some actions are repetitive and disync with the anime, which made the animation look at little weird. Still, most people probably will omit these small little flaw through the story so it is more like picking bones from an egg.
As for the sound department, the background themes are well done and fit the situation appropriately. Especially for the first ending and final ending for the last arc. I did not really like the 2nd ED and the OP though.
Finally, the best part is the charcter development. First of all the characters are funny and unique. Each of the five characters have some personal trauma or personal weakness that they bury deep within them. The anime lead us to each of their dark past and inner emotions as each character interact. Then as the series process, each chracter grow and evolve through hardship, conflicts and sometiems even stupidity.
Overall it is very enjoyable anime and I would recommand people to give the first five ep a try. As to those who drop it in first ep, the later eps are more interesting, u should really give it another chance. I would say if u reach the third ep and still hate the anime then drop it then
