After watching The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, I looked up the studio which produced it, curious to see what else they'd done. Summer Wars seemed interesting enough, so I made a mental note to watch it sometime. However, I eventually forgot about it. One day, I was watching Funimation, and lo and behold, it was on. Barely ten minutes into the movie, and I knew I was watching another TGWLTT.

Story: 10/10
Words cannot describe how much I loved the story. I normally don't like many slice-of-life anime, so I was surprised that I enjoyed this one in particular. Yes, the idea of such an advanced network was a little bit unbelievable, but everything else seemed so much like real life that it surprises me that I still love it.

Art: 9/10
Not much to say here; the art was amazing, and the animation was smooth. It's not the classic, retro feel I usually like, but it was still good.

Sound: 9/10
I expected nothing less from the team behind TGWLTT. Granted, the music isn't as memorable as the music from the previously mentioned anime(coughKawaranaiMonocough), but it's still pretty good ear-candy.

Character: 10/10
I loved everyone in this movie. Everyone had some sort of quirk that made them not only relatable, but humorous and fun.

Enjoyment: 10/10
I can't think of anything else to add, it was just really fun to watch. Relatable characters, great music, and a story that mixes drama, humor, and action together perfectly.

Overall: 10/10
