Guilty Crown is a good piece of anime where it lacks is in the sections of story and character .Instead of talking about the anime industry ill tell what this story lacks and that is direction. what are they doing, and why are they doing it? Its apparent these are rebels against the government or the faction controlling them but if so why is the setting in a freaking school and why at the second tier mark are they left to fend on their own the military should have no problem taking a school after the rebels are gone.Never do you feel like you know whats going on its as if everything is random events and we are just watchin. After saying that you can easily over look most of this because regardless of the bad story telling it is enjoyable if your not a critic .The story has its touching moments dispite of its stoic and dull figures.

The Art is breath taking and is good enough to wish all animes look this good.If you can show me an anime which can trump this artistry tell me. The art is in fact a good enough reason to at least watch it.Sound quality who cares but it is good anyway.

Characters arent that refined other than gai Tsugumi and Ayase (who get little screen time) and thats me being generous .Shu is a character you wont remember hes not notable in any way other then being kind and a bit of a coward.I didnt hate shu but you might hes like lag from tegami bachi without ambition pride and well persona.

Enjoyment is what saves this series it has a few moments which makes this show pardonable if you can put your fingers in your ears and ignore plot holes and watch the well orchestrated scenes you might survive just forget that this series is a drama because thats not what keeps you coming its the action and moments which somehow leave you wanting to least finish this series.Believe me their are worse action series out there who dont care about plot at all.

Overall its nothing special but its not bad .Its worth the watch when you run out of the top tier anime .In conclusion it is lacking in many areas but it has its value and its interesting how the story progresses even though it doesnt make much sense.A seven because i well enjoyed many parts of this anime i hate to say it but its still interesting besides its flaws
